"The Obsidian synthesizer inside NanoStudio 2 by Blip Interactive for iPad packs an unprecedented amount of synthesis power! Obsidian might be one of the most intriguing synth apps that came out in 2018. The synth is so deep that even after investing three weeks of hard work into this video, I'm only able to show a part of it's full potential. Now this is haQ attaQ "docu-torial" and so not only does this video feature a tutorial, review and sound-demo segments, but also an exclusive interview with app developer Matt Borstell, the developer of NanoStudio 2."
The concept behind this module stemmed from the fact that we wanted to use our pedals in conjunction with our ever growing eurorack rigs. We tried really hard to explain the building blocks of Merge as simple and clear as possible.
"So here's a short musical piece to show off the Kickall from Befaco. Now this is a prototype, things are subject to change of course but I liked the patch and wanted to share it. Super low end, warm pushing of the harmonics and generally fattening up to distorted more square kicks comes with ease and it all modulates really nicely."
I believe this is the first Evil Turtle post on the site.
"Now with 3 voices. Each voice has an oscillator and LFO which excite and modulate a resonant circuit. Schematic of first prototype is here: http://evilturtle.nl/projects/rezzodr..."
"Here is a little movie of me playing the awesome MOOG MEMORYMOOG at the SMEM Swiss Museum for Electronic Instruments in Fribourg Switzerland. Its instant Halloween III SEASON OF THE WITCH soundtrack, not sure if they used this on that...anyways if you want more information about the SMEM - you can contact them to visit the place and play with the synths yourself too! https://smemmusic.ch"
