Corsynth DR 02 Snare Drum audio demos
Published on Feb 8, 2019 Corsynth
"All sounds were created using the Corsynth DR-02 Snare Drum.
Some auxiliar modules were used as modulation sources but all the audio comes from the DR-02.
The demos were multitrack recorded and mixed , no FX or compression was used.
Individual tracks are played after each loop.
The DR-02 Snare Drum will be released by the end of February 2019"
Livestock Electronics MAZE - Sequential Attenuverting Matrix Mixer & Signal Router in Eurorack
Published on Feb 8, 2019 DivKidVideo
"I've had a lot of fun with the Livestock Electronics Maze. With it's option to route and then control level and inverted level of any input signal to any output the potential for this thing is pretty crazy! Going beyond that having the option to save several banks of 16 states and recall these states AND THEN use CV or triggers to move through the presets states randomly, in order, addressed by CV, with Euclidean patterns etc. Really cool.
TIMING INDEX / SECTIONS
00:00 Hello and patch previews
00:49 What is Maze? Features etc.
04:23 Routing, inverting and mixing modulation
08:06 SLCT input - using external signals to move through saved routing presets.
09:05 Switching and distributing triggers to shift up your beats
12:41 Interesting use of an accent pattern
14:57 Turning an offset voltage into a 4 voice chord machine
16:46 Building pitch and modulation sequences and states
20:16 SLCT Fade mode - crossfade between 16 states of routing, level control and inversion."

Want to change your patch with a push of a button? Create presets for attenuversion, routing and mixes of signals? Sequence and morph through audio and cv? Then Maze has got you sorted!
Maze is a versatile routing and mixing matrix. That allows you to create your own touchpad of patch presets. Each routing position has been equipped with an attenuverting VCA so it can be used for signal distribution and attenuversion.
Morphing speed between presets can be changed and routings can be muted. Preset selection is also possible with CV and several algorithms. The signal path is entirely analog and it is even possible to chain Maze modules together to increase your matrix."

Simmons SDS 800 | Fully analog drums | THIS is the Tom sound you want!
Published on Feb 8, 2019 Espen Kraft
"Simmons SDS 800 electronic drums from the mid 80s. A budget variation of the more famous SDSV and SDS9, but very capable of making those famous TOMs as well as a 808-like kick and snare. A fully analog drum brain/machine.
Originally the SDS 800 came with the corresponding hexagon drum pads/triggers from SImmons.
The SDS 800 is NOT a drum machine as such and it needs to be triggered to output any sound. There is no MIDI here.
In the absence of original drum pads I've hooked up a couple of DIY piezo electric elements to the two TOM inputs and I play on those with a couple of BIC ballpoint pens, works very well and clearly demonstrates the dynamics you can acheive.
Such piezo electric transducers are dead cheap to buy on Ebay.
The rest of the demo I use the Roland TR-626 to trigger the inputs of the SDS 800 as the 626 has individual outputs that I just route directly into the SDS 800 inputs. Kick - Snare - Tom1 - Tom2."
