New G-Storm Electro KVP MS-20 to Euro Pitch CV + Gate Voltage Processor Demo

Audio and Video by G-Storm Electro c. 2019
Today I am introducing my new module - the KVP.
KVP is a pitch and gate CV processor that makes the MS-20 compatable w/ Eurorack (v/oct).
It works for the vintage MS-20, the MS-20 Mini reissue as well as the Behringer K-2.
And any manufacturer synth using the Hz/v standard.
Percussion: Basimilus Iteritas Alter
Sequencing: Arturia Beatstep Pro
Delay: Timefactor
Reverb: Big Sky
Recorded direct to Tascam DR-05.

Module description:
So you want to control your vintage MS-20 / MS-20 Mini / Behringer K-2 (and more!) from Euro modules.
But when you do, it sounds weird – the pitch is wayyy not right.
And the gate triggers… forget-about-it. KVP can help with that.
KVP can take Euro pitch voltages (v/oct), and process them to standards used by Korg.
Pretty much any manufacturer that uses the Hz/v standard.
It can also do the other way around so you can control your v/oct synths and Euro modules pitch from the MS-20.
Dialing in the frequency and tracking width is a breeze using multi-turn trim pots accessible from the front panel.
KVP will generate about 3 octaves of tracking (C1 to C4) - same as the MS-20 keybed.
KVP also has 2 processors for handling gate signals as well.
Slide the TYPE switch to the right (convert) and it can convert Korg to Euro gates or the other way around.
Slide the type switch to the left (no conversion) and the same gate that goes in is what comes out.

__ A C I D __ w/ TT-303 & TT-606 by Cyclone Analogic #TTNM

"More minimal Acid House music with the 303 and 606 clones :) MORE INFO BELOW.
♥ SUPPORT: http://bit.ly/ttnm-support ♥
The Cyclone Analogic TT-303 Bass Bot v2 and TT-606 Drum Done are clones of the iconic Roland TB-303 and TR-606 groove boxes, which have coined electronic music for decades.
The modern TT-303 and TT-606 instruments still have all analog audio signal generation, but more sophisticated sequencer capabilities than their relatives form the 80's.
In this video I switch patterns on the fly, while also adding hi-hats manually, switching 303 wave forms between saw and square and of course tweaking the sound knobs heavily :D"

STG Soundlabs Pulse Matrix - Moog format

via STG Soundlabs Reverb
"The Pulse Matrix is a comparator and divider network configured for audio applications. Think of it as an elaborate version of the PWM and Suboctave of the SH-101. If you're not familiar with the SH-101, think of it as a little box you can put any waveform into and get a pulse wave and 4 varieties of suboctave from.
The signal input is where you would put whatever you want to turn into a pulse wave into.
The threshold control sets the "flip" point of the comparator, and has a range of approximately negative five volts to positive five volts. think of it as a pulse width control.
The control input has a dedicated attenuator and is summed with the manual control, and allows for external modulation of the threshold point. Think of it as a pulse width modulation input.
Next are five outputs. They are all ten volt peak-to-peak signal to play nice with other audio modules. This is unlike the sh-101, where the suboctave had a dc offset which made its bass frequencies not as strong as they could have been.
The first is the direct output of the comparator. In "pulse width" terms this is zero to one hundred percent.
The second output is a 50 percent duty cycle wave one octave lower than the main output.
The third output is a variable output, from one to forty-nine percent duty cycle, one octave lower than the main output.
The fourth output is a 50 percent duty cycle wave two octaves lower than the main output.
The fifth output is a 25 percent duty cycle wave two octaves lower than the main output.
This module only has a physical depth of 2 inches.
The video linked is a demo of the .COM, the eurorack version of this module. they have identical audio performance."

"This Frequency Divider outputs +/-5volt signals 1 and 2 octaves below the input frequency - similar to a Roland SH-101.
It has an adjustable Pulse Width which is output at the original frequency, -1oct and -2oct.
Since all outputs are +/-5volt it can be used to drive CV inputs.
It also mangles regular audio which is effected by the adjustable Pulse Width - AND outputs the mangled audio as +/-5volt...so you can use this to inject some mayhem into your modular's CV inputs - this thing ROCKS!"
