Only 150 were hand-made by Moog (North Carolina/USA) in 2015. This one is serial number 17; obviously one of the first shipped to the UK (dual-voltage 120/220V, so no convertors required). One owner from new, apart from Klassic Keys GB. Rig comes with everything shown in photos, including special output cable. Original owner's manual (which is very informative ) & some patch charts + many patch leads + Swan flight-rack, even the original box! Note certificate of authentication...

If you are reading this, you will probably know exactly what this modular system is capable of. Basically, it is a portable version of the monster Moog system 900, which was extensively employed to produce "Switched on Bach" circa 1968. ANY sound/tone can be created....from scratch....and there is NO better tonality in the whole universe than a Moog system.......There are ten or so different modules (eg 995, 923 etc) all grouped in one "frame"; by plugging and connecting with the patch leads, the sounds are created, stemming from twin oscillators (921B), controlled by the master oscillator (921A), and so on.....

Introduction (by Bob Moog):-" ...is a pro modular system, made with the same high quality, precisely-engineered components as the largest Moog studio synths. Its compactness and convenience make it ideal for live performance on location, yet it is expandable into a studio system of any size. It combines functional simplicity and logical layout with the versatility necessary for producing a full range of sounds & effects."

Musically, you will need a keyboard. Option (1) use a Moog model 951/952...it simply plugs into the rear of the unit, no grief....(2) use software + any contemporary CV/MIDI mini-synth/mother keyboard (there are many available).....(3) use an external sequencer (only), if you are into the massive "techno-house-music-modular-synthesis" stuff......
Condition:- virtually "as new". No more, no less.

"WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD": ASM HYDRASYNTH "A040 Ambisines" Patch

"WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD": WHAT AN AMAZING MACHINE! Demo of ASM HYDRASYNTH "A040 Ambisines" Patch by Microflat

"This video will demo the 49-key 4-octave ASM Hydrasynth, a remarkable new synth from Ashun Sound Machines based in Hong Kong. This premium keyboard is nothing but stunning. The polyphonic aftertouch combined with the innovative factory sounds makes it feel almost like a living thing. An organism. Tremendously inspiring to play. Nothing less. I used the dreamy patch "A040 Ambisines". What a Wonderful World. Merry Christmas!"

Instruo Now on VCV Rack

Instruō

"Happy holidays everyone!

2020 has sucked on many levels… but hopefully this might lighten some lockdowns:
Instruo is now on VCV Rack for anyone to use for free!
It’s been a busy year but I’ve had the great fortune of welcoming a few new team members to the Instruo crew.
This in particular has been a project that really grew exponentially since June!
With the pandemic still on going, hopefully this will ease some boredom and help inspire some creativity.

Thank you everyone that has supported Instruo to date.
I have many exciting things in development and we thought this would be a nice way to give something back in thanks.

Happy Christmas and New Year when it comes.
And of course happy patching!
Cheers
Jason"

The Human League - Don't You Want Me (Instrumental Cover)

KOSmusic

"This is my instrumental cover of a magnificent 1980s classic by the English band The Human League: Don't You Want Me of 1981.

It was a bit of a complex track to recreate for the amount of synth sounds, but I have to say I had a lot of fun creating these typical early 80s synth sounds (many of them with the classic square wave).

To recreate this track and to make the video, I was inspired by the official video version: [below]

I used the CS1x sounds for many brasses of this song and tried to get as close as possible to the original with all the other sounds. There are some differences with the original track (you can hear them by listening to the separate left/right channels), especially with the more complex sounds to recreate (for example the rhythm synth on the right channel starting at 0:23). Moreover, I made the fade out of the track a little more gradual (lengthening it a few seconds longer than the original).

I hope you enjoy my tribute to this beautiful song :)"
