Microwave XT x Spitfire Albion Tundra - A beautiful pairing
video by Mason Chrysler
"I wanted to make a short demo using the Microwave XT to show how well this wonder-machine can fit with acoustic instruments, particularly within the context of film scores. In this track, I've used a few instances of the stunning Spitfire Audio Albion Tundra library for NI Kontakt along with a single recording of a pad patch I created on the Microwave XT. While auditioning wavetables to use with this track, the Organ wavetable stood out as the winner with these particular chords, but I'm very much looking forward to sharing more music using the other factory wavetables which definitely can evoke different thoughts, feelings, and emotions mixed with the endless universe of possibilities the MWXT is capable of. I would love to hear any thoughts you may have as well!
Video made by me. Thank you for tuning in and I hope you enjoy.

“Flux meets Jupiter-4 10 - Polyrhythms” by Friendly Noise
video by Friendly Noise
"Video sections: 00:06 Part 1
01:29 Part 2
Only self resonating filters on this video!!!!
This is number 10 of a new video series combining the best of vintage sound and the best of the modern sequencer technology in eurorack: Roland Jupiter 4 and IO Labs Flux. There will be a new short video every week.
The Jupiter 4 is always recorded in mono, which makes the internal chorus very subtle. Reverb is added in Cubase to make the sound wider. There is no clipping in the recording chain. If you hear anything close to distortion, it’s all in the sound coming out of the Jupiter 4."

ASM Hydrasynth Sound Demo by PAD
video by Pure Ambient Drone
"In this video, I demo some Hydrasynth synthesizer presets, patches and sounds!
The new Ashun Sound Machines (ASM) Hydrasynth keyboard is an eight-voice synth with rich options for sound design: with Wave Scanning oscillators, sound shaping via multiple Mutators, two flexible filters per voice, and a fully-thought-out effects section, Hydrasynth is a sound designer's dream. This is the Hydrosynth Keyboard and not the Hydrosynth desktop. Both their synth engines are the same but their interfaces have minor differences.
It offers full polyphonic aftertouch, a large ribbon controller, and an intense arpeggiator with randomness and ratcheting built in. And of course, the modulation section is formidable: five complex envelopes, five complex LFOs, CV/Gate I/O and a 32-path modulation matrix make it possible to create everything from classic key sounds to evolving generative soundscapes."
SCORING MOVIES, ANYONE? COMPOSING BALLET MUSIC? Demo of ASM HYDRASYNTH "A091 Suitcase" Patch
video by Microflat
"This video will demo the 49-key 4-octave ASM Hydrasynth, a remarkable new synth from Ashun Sound Machines based in Hong Kong. This premium keyboard is nothing but stunning. The polyphonic aftertouch combined with the innovative factory sounds makes it feel almost like a living thing. An organism. Tremendously inspiring to play. Nothing less. I used the arpeggiated version of the multifaceted "A091 Suitcase" patch. Your imagination only sets the bar here.
Video clips were recorded in 4K (60 fps) on a Panasonic Lumix GH5 and edited in Adobe Rush. Audio was recorded in 48 KHz 24 bit on a class compliant Solid State Logic SSL 2+ thunderbolt 3 interface straight into a 2020 iPad Pro running Cubasis 3. All audio output effects are default ASM Hydrasynth. A bit of EQ and Reverb was added in Adobe Audition."
