Ursa Major Space Station SST-206 overview demo ((Worlds first??))
video upload by manmade madman
"This is a demo of the amazing Ursa Major Space Station SST-206, an exact replica of the 3 rack unit Space Station SST-282 from 1978. It was released in back in 2004 with the exact same algorithms, features, and functionality, but with an upgraded 140MHz Motorola DSP as a passion project from Chris Moore at his company named Seven Woods Audio. He also included modern versions of the algorithms, as well as a new Room algorithm that is incredibly realistic.
This demo includes a few sets of drums and then a random saxophone running thru the Ursa Major. I tried to show all the algorithms and 'audition delay patterns' along with knob movements and dialing in craziness.
To my ears, this is exactly what it says it is: a 1:1 Ursa Major Space Station in a modern convenient size with tons of hands-on control."

"It's in very nice condition for its age with only a few scrapes and marks here and there. It plays very nice but does have a little noise in audio...sounds like it is before the filter but its not terrible. everything does function as it should and has a great sound. This is basically a monophonic Jupiter 4 but has a extra VCO which really makes this thing powerful.
It's one of my favorite Roland synths and does use the same filter found in the Jupiter 8 so it has a very warm organic resonance unlike some of the other Roland models after this era.
This unit is corrosion free, caught this one before the memory backup battery leaked and I modified the circuit to use a Panasonic BR1/2AA instead of the original battery style."

KAWAI TEISCO S-100F | Analog Synthesizer 1979 | Sound Demo (no talking)
video upload by AnalogAudio1
"(c) 2023 by AnalogAudio1
The Kawai (Teisco) S-100F is a great little monophonic analog synth. It only has 1 VCO, but lowpass and highpass filters and some interesting modulation routings! Although it's limited, the basic sound is excellent. It reminds me a bit of the ARP 2600. The VCO has a huge range - very low and very high frequencies are possible. Built like a tank, best quality made in Japan, high quality hardware, easy to repair.
I played the Kawai S-100F with delay effects from Korg SDD-3000 (right channel only). On the left channel you can hear the synth dry."

Microtonal Regen
video upload by Synclavier Digital
Update: video re-uploaded.
"For this tutorial video, our collaborator maestro, Leith Fleming-Smith brings his Lumatone and things get seriously microtonal.
Regen supported MPE out of the gate and had controls, such as Octave Ratio, to vary tuning. Then firmware update 1.04 added Custom Tunings and the ability to load scala files, which massively opened up the possibilities for microtonalists.
Topics Covered:
0:00 Intro
1:22 Detune control
2:40 Octave Ratio
5:52 Custom Tunings
10:45 Scala Files
13:57 MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE)
17:53 With Lumatone
