One of my favorite tracks from the 80s.
I Feel For You by Chaka Khan
written and composed by Prince (1979)
produced by Arif Mardin (1984)
featured the Yamaha DX7 II FD, the Oberheim OB-Xa and the Moog Source
This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.
My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers.
Check out the original songs with the original artists here on YouTube.
Thank you."
Boredbrain Xcelon - Extensive Patch & Demo by @redstripedown
video upload by Boredbrain Music
"Our modular buddy Cory Sterling (aka. Redstripedown) asked if he could make a demo video featuring Xcelon, and of course we said yes!
In this video Cory jams on an intricate musical patch, using Xcelon for hands-on mixing and dynamic effects routing. He then walks through all of Xcelon's primary features as a central audio mixer for eurorack systems, and explores these features further by deconstructing his patch one channel at a time. Toward the end of the demo, Cory goes on to explain all of the expander connections on the back of the module, as well as the three different settings which are configured with jumpers."
GForce AXXESS Mini Demos

"GForce AXXESS is a quick way to get stunning results in your production and it is a master at bass. It has a fantastic giant sound and a super fun sequencer that will surprise you. Thanks to our unique X-Modifiers, you can also go much deeper. They make it quicker to program complex sounds. AXXESS lends itself superbly to Electronica, Cinematic, Synthpop, Dance, Ambient, Rock, Prog Rock, Hip Hop and more."

"In this video you can follow our new transportable audiovisual synthesizer
'SILHOUETTE SPORT' (prototype) through the floors of Superbooth 24 synth fair, Berlin. The synthesizer has an integrated camera at the front which captures live video and transforms its greysacle data live into audio. More special camera features will be implemented.
We met some friends, colleagues and artists. Please join their first reaction.
We are planning to release 'SILHOUETTE SPORT' in winter 2024/25.

Groove Synthesis 3rd Wave dreamy soundscape - A search for tomorrow's sun
video upload by MIDERA
"Yesterday I had made my first impression video and stumbled through the 3rd wave. It was quite interesting the different tones I could pull out of it - and I knew it would be fun to make a soundscape with it. Actually, yesterday I pulled it out TO make a soundscape, but remembered my friend wanted me to do a 'first impression' video first. So I decided to do that video and then today do this video.
I'm glad I did it that way, because I was able to familiarize myself with the unit before I made the soundscape. I even learned things after I messed around with it that helped me today.
Well - you know, I think it sounds really nice. Unfortunately the FX themselves began to clip. I didn't realize that would happen. My apologies for that.
No external FX used."
3rd Wave Sampling Demo - Drum 'n' Bass with Kurt Kurasaki
video upload by Groove Synthesis
"Enjoy this short and sweet demo of an old-school Drum 'n' Bass preset with the legendary Amen break hosted by Groove Synthesis sound designer Kurt Kurasaki. The version 1.8 firmware of the 3rd Wave includes a powerful new enhancement to the sonic capabilities of the synth, giving it the ability to support sampling. With this, we believe we have added the missing piece to its PPG heritage enabling you to achieve the sampled sounds you could get with a PPG Waveterm System."
