"A peek into a cover of one of Kitaro's masterpieces, 'Reimei'. ''Reimei' was one of the songs that I was intimidated by due to its long duration and complex orchestration. But I have finally managed to recreate this piece, with the help of the Kurzweil PX1000. This cover takes inspiration from the 'Live in America' album.

I am also excited to share that this cover will be a collaboration with Hide-san ‪@hide0710_healing‬ who will play the Guitar Solo for this piece!"

New Prototype Synth: Wintermute

"This is a new prototype synth, called Wintermute.

Its a generative groovebox based on the OPL3 Yamaha FM chip.

Somehow I have managed to run an OPL3 emulator inside an overclocked pi pico.

Once the emulator is running, I have applied the basic strategies of ARCANE and expanded it to drive the emulator. It results in a groovebox that is wild, glitchy and quite imprevisible. It produces all kind of Akira like soundscapes and rhythmic phrases

Currently is in development phase, no idea if it will finish being released.

I have had a lot of fun with Rings and Beads and Clouds in the past and I thought it was about time to pair one of my favourite modules (Rings) with the new addition to the synth, Arbhar, it does seem like a match made in heaven and this is something I’ll be coming back to now and again in the future, I was pretty happy with the results, what do you think?

1. Tre Modular - Replicant ADSR Demo

Tre Modular - Replicant ADSR is an envelope generator inspired by Yamaha CS80 synthesizers filter envelope section. It has Initial lvl, Attack lvl controls and multi stage decay and release, same as the CS80. In addition to those things Replicant ADSR has sustain control, retrigger function and inverted output that was not present on the CS80 filter envelope, making this a truly unique ADSR.

2. Replicant ADSR first look

Replicant ADSR is a CS80 inspired envelope generator. It has Initial lvl, Attack lvl controls and multi stage decay and release, same as the CS80.

But that's not all, we have expanded on capabilities of this envelope generator by adding sustain control, retrigger function and inverted output making this a truly unique ADSR.
