"The Quandrantid Swarm is a digital synthesizer that features a percussive element to give it a unique sound. It contains a two-pole analog filter, an LFO with eight waveforms, and a spring reverb. The eight touch keys can be used as a mono keyboard, polyphonic keyboard or an eight-step sequencer.

The Quandrantid Swarm has MIDI and CV/Trig connectivity. Its normalized pre-patching allows you start creating immediately, but its semi-modular design allows you to use patch cables to explore the potential of this instrument."

"I remember my Korg Mono/Poly with great love and nostalgia. My first synth, the machine that taught me about synthesizers, the machine I used in all my early live gigs. Many machines have been bought (and sold) since then trying to recapture some of the weird-arp magic. So the Multipoly was a natural.

Here I can't help but blather about such things and play my first few custom sounds using the Mono/Poly starter template.

Overall I'm extremely happy with it. It's complex, somewhat unfriendly, very menu-divey but has so much going on that the amusement longevity factor and overall usefulness score seem high. Strangely, the only area that has attracted no love from Korg is the arpegiator! Everywhere else there are options galore, but for the arp, almost nothing more than the original Mono/Poly offered. Hopefully in an update we'll get separate arps for each layer - at least.

"A piece created using the ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, ‪@buchlausa‬ Music Easel, and a drum set.

On the Prophet-10, I perform harmonies and apply reverb using blueSky.

With the Music Easel, I patch and modulate the sound to play a lead line, adding portamento to the lead.

The drum set primarily features cymbals and small bells, which I record into a DAW and process with reverb and filters."
