Dreadbox ARTEMIS – 6-Voice Analogue Polysynth Demo & First Look | Buchla & Friends 2025
video upload by SourceDistributionTV
"At Buchla & Friends 2025, we caught up with Orfeas from @Dreadbox to get an exclusive early look at their upcoming Artemis – a powerful 6-voice analogue polysynth with a bold, dark, and aggressive sonic character."
Ambient Beat w/ GAME BOY&LSDj, OP-1 field, Moog One | Silhouettes 2025-02-10 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using the Game Boy, @MoogSynthesizers Moog One, and @teenageengineering OP-1 field. A brush-played beat is layered with synth harmonies and a Game Boy sequence.
The Game Boy is sequenced using LSDj and processed with reverb and pitch shifting via @strymon NIGHTSKY.
On the OP-1 field, I perform synth and sampler sounds, processing them through the @ChaseBlissAudio GENERATION LOSS MKII to achieve a lo-fi character.
The drum tracks, played with brushes, are edited in the DAW. Three microphones are used for recording—one on the kick, one on the snare, and one as an overhead. The audio interface used is the TASCAM SERIES 8p Dyna."

The Chladni app used on my iPad for the visuals mimics the nodal patterns that appear on surfaces when modulated at audio frequencies. This was pioneered by Robert Hooke in the late 1600's and by Ernst Chladni in the late 1700's.
Gear used:
Large format modular synth: Synth Tech, Moon Modular, Club Of The Knobs
Yamaha FS1R
Mellotron M4000D Rack
Roland A-88 keyboard controller
Strymon and Lexicon effects

Ambient w/ Field Recordings, Prophet-10, wavestate, Tape Loop | Green Reflection 2025-02-09 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using field recordings from a pond and park, along with the Prophet-10, wavestate, and tape loops. The sounds of waterfowl, water, synthesizers, and a monophonic piano loop blend together to form a rich soundscape.
I edited recordings of sounds from Tokyo's parks and ponds for this piece.
The @SequentialLLC Prophet-10 is played at a free tempo while being processed with reverb via blueSky.
For the tape loop, I recorded a monophonic piano performance and played it back with reverb and filtering using @strymon NIGHTSKY.
On the wavestate, I perform synth pad sounds that are processed through @ChaseBlissAudio LOSSY with filters, transforming them into a lo-fi tone."
follow the white rabbit...

"using the lovely o-o-o strip from @infinitedigits with some samples I managed to make...something? the script is pretty great to get some ideas down quickly and still have enough room for performance.
hope you'll like it!"
Banyan: generative ambient through switching loops
video upload by Electrum Modular
"With Disting EX’s multiswitch algo (6 switches, each with 6 inputs and 4 outputs), you can generate long, melodic sequences with just three voltages. By placing the switches in parallel, so their inputs and outputs overlap, and by adding a few feedback loops, the sequence can get quite complex and unpredictable."

GS Music E7 X Digitone 2 : Multitimbral Madness
video upload by SQF
"The E7 is essentially 4 synths in one. Tracks 1-8 on the Digitone 2 are all midi to the E7 using the multitimbral patch capabilities. You can assign 4 midi channels to 4 separate patches and allocate the 7 availalbe voices between them. At times I'm sending up to 3 midi channels at once. I've got filter cuttoff mapped for each midi channel, which is what I'm adjusting on the DN2. It's less button presses than modifying directly on the e7.
If Cerebral Brewing in Denver wants to sponsor me, I'm open."
