"The real thing drum machine: Roland TR-808. It's shocking to hear these actual analog circuits making the sounds you've been hearing on so many hip-hop/pop/new-wave/soul hits your whole life. Nothing can touch it. This is a fantastic specimen. I've been the owner since purchasing in the mid 1990s, and it has been in active use in my studio ever since. I just had it professionally cleaned and examined by my repair tech. The controls are responsive and work as they should. Exterior is very clean, with some slight haze in the finish here and there, typical of its age. Also included are the original manuals and docs."

Empire NEO Vol 1 - 100 Patches refreshed from the original KingKorg.

I recently picked up this KingKorg NEO as I used to have the original KingKorg and always loved the Synth Engine, however you know what it’s like, something new comes along and you need the space. Anyway, I made a Bank of 100 Patches for the original, called Empire Vol 1, which had a great range of Sounds and I demonstrated all 100 over 4 videos.

Unfortunately the KingKorg NEO cannot read the data from the original as there are some changes to the Oscillator types and of course, no Tube. So i did a test on a few patches to see if I could recreate them and yes, it can do them fine. So, I’ve gone through a refreshed all 100 Patches for the KingKorg NEO and while there are some differences, it is only slight.

So here’s 25 of my favorite for Empire NEO Vol 1."
