"the zi51 is the metasonix r51 circuit, used with permission, redesigned to take 6ak5/5654 tubes (only use 6ak5 or 5654 tubes in this module) and added feedback.
the input knob controls the audio input level. distort controls the bias adjustment of the distortion level.
vca adjusts the amount of cv applied to the vca cv input.
you need to have a cv source applied to the vca cv input jack to get the most results from the vca knob.
feedback controls the amount of signal fed back into the input.
a modulation signal of at least 5v is recommended to insert into the vca cv input.
the module functions best when a modulation source is fed into the vca cv input to fully open the vca level of the module.
the distort and vca knobs interact with each other and the more voltage that is applied to the vca cv input the more effect the distort knob has when turned.
it is recommended to let the module warm up several minutes before operating and to start with settings as described:

Grp Vintage Genesi

video upload by Grp Synthesizer
"Grp Vintage Genesi is a synthesiser that traces the sonic legacy of a design that was very popular in the early 1970s. Designed faithfully to the original specifications, Genesi is a true tribute by Grp Synthesizer and its founder Paolo Groppioni to the sounds of one of his main reference bands, as the name of this synthesiser in this new Grp Vintage series clearly indicates. The sonic characteristics of the original are identical in all respects, but this instrument is able to offer the total reliability and performance guaranteed by the latest components and technology implemented, all at a price that is certainly more affordable than the original editions of this historic synthesizer model."

"The GRP Genesi is a small-batch faithful hardware recreation of the ARP Pro Soloist in rack form from Italy's GRP - who also made the exceedingly excellent premium-grade GRP A4 analog synth, the A2, and so on.
The Genesi is a preset synth using analog circuits with various settings easily assignable to aftertouch. There are great switches and knobs but it is entirely free of menus. The manual is available online, it is extremely easy to use.
The video attached from GRP is from the prelease.
This synthesizer is Serial Number 5 and has seen only home smoke-free studio use. It has no rack rash, and will ship professionally packed and fully insured."
