Relativity (CHORDS Roland J-6 + H90 + Pill pedals // DRUMS TR-6S // BASS Arturia Minifreak)

video upload by 2-Minute Warning

"In this jam I'm using the sequencers of each of the 3 instruments (unlike the previous video [here] where I played the BASS and CHORDS in real-time 😉) .

The jam starts with the J-6 playing the CHORDS, then me adding effects from the H90 (Delay, then Phaser).
The DRUMS are being introduced gradually.
For the drop, commes the punchy BASSLINE from the Minifreak.
Later on, I enabled the Pill pedal triggered by the drums (TR-6S) which ducks the PADS each time the KICK hits in 🦆"

video upload by Nostalgic Explorer

"Today I am exploring an amazing track and how Prince turned this song into a sermon—blending faith, message, and sound. The spiritual meaning behind the music and the production tools that shaped it. And I am recreating this track in my studio using the Yamaha DX7, Juno 60 and Linn LM-1 drum computer."

the 90s digital synth you don't know they used

Today we’re diving into the Kawai K4. This 90s digital synth played a quiet but important role in shaping the sound of early industrial music, heard in the work of bands like Front Line Assembly, Wumpscut, Intermix, Delerium, X-Fusion and Solitary Experiments . I’m putting the K4 to the test to see if it still delivers that unmistakable 90s industrial character. Decades later, it remains a cult favorite for music producers and sound designers chasing dark, mechanical atmospheres.

Behringer JN-80 - Sounds Like a $HIT - I mean, sounds like a synth lol

video upload by Noir Et Blanc Vie - After Hours

"Look, what am I supposed to say, it sounds fine, it plays fine, it's not a bad product.... BUT, how can I be excited about something that I don't care about. It literally sounds like a synth, not bad, not great, not inspiring, BUT who cares. It's a tool, use it if you got it. I could make an album with it as easily as a real Juno-60/106. I wouldn't buy it, but that's not because of any other reason than I don't need another synth lol. Behringer JN-80 is fine, but a Cmaj7#11 is the same no matter what the brand. Don't push brands, push creativity.
