Experimental Modular Footwork with TENORI-ON | Roar 2026-02-14 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"An experimental footwork piece created with YAMAHA TENORI-ON and a modular synthesizer.

In the modular system, Plaits serves as the main oscillator, while MIDI triggers the Quad Function & Trigger Source. The sound is split into two paths: the direct output of Mutable Instruments Plaits and a version processed through a Clouds clone. These two signals are mixed in stereo. The final output is routed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST+FOUND, adding reverb and delay.

On the TENORI-ON, rhythm patterns are programmed in real time, with occasional delay applied via MOOD MKII."

GreyScale – A Standalone MIDI Sequencer KOSMOS Powered by Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040)

This one is in via GreyScale aka plantssystem whose videos you have likely seen on the site.

"GreyScale is a compact, self‑contained MIDI sequencer built entirely around the Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040).

Its minimal hardware footprint hides a surprisingly deep generative engine, combining Euclidean rhythm generation, step sequencing, probability control, and evolving melodic behavior.

The clean GreyScale UI provides immediate visual feedback — step activity, Euclid parameters, probability states — all rendered on a crisp LCD. A joystick and four dedicated buttons offer fast, tactile control, keeping the workflow musical and instrument‑like rather than menu‑driven.

GreyScale runs completely standalone with standard MIDI output, making it an ideal partner for hardware synths, desktop modules, or DAW setups.

Designed for spontaneity and long‑form generative performance, it encourages exploration and rewards experimentation. A small instrument with a refined feel, GreyScale blends DIY charm with a polished, modern sequencing experience."

Folktek Mescaline + Passive Operator: Melodic Malfunction

video upload by Infin-D

"The Folktek Mescaline delivers a nice rhythm and melodic drone, and the Error Instruments Passive Operator just gltiches it all up. The Passive Operator is running through the Meng Qi Wingie 2 Stereo Resonator. Vocal samples from the Bastl Wave Bard maybe give the whole thing some...context?

Delay provided by the Korg NTS-1.

Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.

Vintage Infindibulum on Bandcamp:"

The SOUL of the KORG Z1 - Ethereal Textures & STRYMON BigSky / No Talking

video upload by Matzumi

"Experience the breathing soul of the Korg Z1.
In this studio session, the Korg Z1 meets the Strymon BigSky – a combination of pure magic. Together, they open up mystical soundscapes that are as inspiring as they are profound.
The result is a sound that is both dystopian and beautiful, possessing a unique radiance.

It’s a sound that seems to breathe on its own. Join me and get lost in resonance.

I’ve spent some time getting lost in the resonance of the Korg Z1 paired with the Strymon BigSky.

Music is emotion, music is language - the oldest in the world.
Music is so much more than just the sound in the ear.

Techno Live Jam - 140 | Tonverk meets Perkons HD-01

video upload by Mark Cee

"What heck, was feeling 140 today and thought about running Perkons main out into one input on Tonverk and the main send out into the other Tonverk input. Tonverk provides the FX Chain. Now I just move the sends on each Voice on Perkons. The vast amount of routing options and FX in Tonverk make it a pedal killer as well. It does a lot. Massive utility.

Perk still my favorite off all time."
