Counting With Knobula
video upload by knobula
"Two Drum Farm modules featuring the "numbers" utility sound used for identifying sample slots. We are taken on a four minute sonic journey into electro breakbeats showcasing some of the live generated Drum Farm sounds like the Super Clap , some real-time effects, and some sequenced sample playback using modulated voltages coming from Pam's - counting out the samples 1-2-3 and 4."
Heritage Modular - Heritage Synthesizers - Live coding | SynthFest France 2026
video upload by SynthFest France
YouTube is doing its annoying voiceover auto-dubbing on my end. You can enable CC on the bottom of the player and you can mute the sound if you want. You can find the full playlist of SynthFest France 2026 Presentations here.
"Discover the latest evolutions of Heritage Modular, the polyphonic modular synthesizer with presets, with "Delicate Shadows": keyboard, Erae 2, and live coding reveal its multitimbral richness.
As with any creative endeavor, in the beginning, there is nothing… Then comes the encounter of an idea or two, or three, with the machine, THE machine, THE synthesizer that fills your sonic space with its rich sounds.
The moonlit night reveals 'delicate shadows,' like the harmonics of the Heritage Modular's sounds. From this, the track 'Delicate Shadows' was born, to expand the dimensions of the synthesizer itself, to fill the space of a room, if only for a few minutes.
It is the combination of three areas of expertise that allowed this music to come into being: the composition of a gentle, almost melancholic melody; the mastery of the code that makes the speaker diaphragms vibrate; and the electronic design that carries the electrical signal through the circuits, allowing it to vibrate freely.

"Rare 1989 16-bit drum machine with a unique 25 point ROM modulation patch bay and 16 preset effects switches. These custom modifications allow for the processing of the onboard sounds and user programmed rhythms to an extreme extent with the generation of an immense range of warped and inspiring sound design possibilities. These include distortion, bit crushing, aliasing, cross modulation, delays, digital noise, tonal sounds, reversing, flams and more indefinable effects. The five included patch cables can also be stacked for even deeper processing. The unit functions as normal when the patch bay is not implemented. Includes original manual and power supply.
2x 16 backlit LCD display.
43 tuneable and reversible sounds.
99 pattern, 100 song memory.
MIDI in, out.
1/4" outputs.
Tempo and volume controls."

ORIGAMI + UNDULA DRONE
video upload by LARIX ELEKTRO
"During Synthfest 2026, I gave a presentation of my latest modules, then an improvisation.
The video is already online here: [embed below]
And I take this opportunity to thank the wonderful team of @SynthFestFrance once again !
Of course, I am not happy with my performance. But how could it be otherwise: thinking demo and then music, anyway...
But in the end, upon re-listening, it's not so catastrophic.
Here is another attempt, not necessarily better by the way, but which also features the latest version of the ORIGAMI prototype, and the MACRO modules.
The patch is almost identical, with the ORIGAMI entering in stereo into the UNDULA, serving here as a filter.
The result is a drone evolving very gradually. Sub to noise.
No added FX, and barely any processing for the YouTube upload. Listenable on headphones for the stereo and the sub-bass ;)
Special thanks to the airplane that made repeated flyovers above me at the beginning of the recording !"

"Today we take a look at one of the more popular Performance Templates for the Elektron Octatrack MK1/MK2, the Hybrid 4X4 Performance Template, which now includes an alternate version called Hybrid 4X3. Hybrid 4X3 sacrifices a track to include a live looper for classic DJ transitions.

Ambient with Randomized Samples and Synth Pads | Sinking Stone 2026-04-28 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"An ambient piece created with Ambient Engine ( https://store.atnr.net/ambient-engine... ) and the @SequentialLLC Prophet-10.
Ambient Engine loads samples of ice sounds and human voices and plays them while randomly changing the playback position. The MicroLoop effect is also applied.
On the Prophet-10, synth pads are performed with reverb through the Strymon blueSky.
On the @buchlausa Music Easel, the bass is played using a modulated sound processed with reverb and filtering through the @strymon NIGHTSKY."

Introducing the Body Synths Laboratory
video upload by Body Synths

"The Body Synths Laboratory is a dual-channel effects processor and feedback synthesizer.
Four feedback paths sit at the core of the Laboratory. Route signals, control delay repeats, or add gritty textures. Push them far enough, and the system enters self-oscillation—even with no input. From there, every control reshapes the feedback into anything from subtle drones to harsh noise madness.
Each channel features three voltage-controlled effects: gain, delay, and filter. Run the channels in series or in parallel. Push signals from silence to amplification with the Gain control. Drive the Delay into dirty territory at longer times—we’ve used that famous karaoke machine delay chip. Combine both channels to create multi-tap or ping-pong echoes.
The Resonant Filter provides Low-Pass and High-Pass modes. Chain the two channels in series to create Band-Pass responses. A final clipping stage at the end of each channel adds compression and distortion when driven to extremes.
We’ve also included a global Modulator that can operate as either an Envelope or an LFO, with two positive and two negative CV outputs. Patch them to build effects like tremolo, vibrato, chorus, moving stereo filter sweeps, modulated delays—it can get pretty wild.
The Body Synths Laboratory is being developed in collaboration with Andrey from the Berlin-based pedal company akkusativ.
