"Only three Black Editions exist within the total production run of 102 PPG 1002 synthesizers. An all-black finish, larger control knobs, and refined analog VCOs and LFO bring a distinctive touch to this reissue while preserving its vintage character. www.ppgsynth.com"
"Three instruments worldwide. One of them could be yours. A SPECIAL PIECE OF PPG
Some instruments are chosen for more than their sound. They embody a history, a distinctive aesthetic, and the joy of having something special in front of you.
The PPG 1002 Black Edition is one such instrument. Limited to just three units worldwide, it combines the distinctive analog PPG sound with a design exclusive to this edition.
Finished entirely in black, with black anodized 3D side panels featuring the PPG logo and larger control knobs, the PPG 1002 reveals a new side of its personality. Clean, striking, and carefully considered down to the last detail.
An instrument to play, explore, and treasure.
Further refinements have been made under the hood: both analog oscillators have been optimized once again to bring out the authentic PPG sonic character."

2. Cherry Audio | Translucent Presets for Pentaphonic Synthesizer
3. Cherry Audio | "Pentaphonic Cruise" by Steve Peglar
"Cherry Audio's Pentaphonic synthesizer revives the ultra-rare polyphonic hybrid synthesizer originally developed by Gleeman Instruments in 1981. With fewer than 70 units ever produced, this synthesizer is legendary for its rich tone, distinctive design, and pioneering sequencing capabilities. This emulation faithfully reproduces the lush sound of its digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) and analog-filter architecture while capturing the visual essence of the synthesizer "made to be seen, not just heard."

Cherry Audio has taken its capabilities to new heights with expanded polyphony, expressive performance, polyphonic and parameter sequencing, and a library of studio-quality effects. Our visual makeover offers a choice of stunning designs inspired by the various looks it sported during its brief existence."
Cherry Audio Pentaphonic: A rare synthesizer masterpiece reborn
"CatSynth presents a deep dive into the new Pentaphonic from our friends at Cherry Audio. This is a recreation of the extremely rare Gleeman Pentaphonic synthesizer, complete with its unique look featuring crystaline transparent knobs and a translucent body. The Pentaphonic was an analog polyphonic synth with a few twists, including three digital oscillators with microcontroller-generated waveforms that were fed into an analog Steiner Parker filter. We explore the emulation of these unique features as well as Cherry Audio's enhancements for modulation, effects, and motion. We also check out a few of the factory and expansion-pack presets.
"Made to Be Seen, Not Just Heard." Pentaphonic resurrects one of the rarest synthesizers ever made: the 1981 Gleeman Pentaphonic.
Cherry Audio is proud to announce the release of Pentaphonic, an innovative virtual instrument that resurrects one of the rarest synthesizers ever made: the Gleeman Pentaphonic. With fewer than 70 units of the original hardware ever produced, this software version is a compelling opportunity for vintage synth enthusiasts and music producers of all genres.
A Personal History Of Sound Scanner and Soniccouture have collaborated to develop a custom tool to utilise his huge personal tape archive, documenting an entire sonic life and career.
Stripped back to the basics, Scanner: Library is a bold experiment in the power of layering sound. With such a diverse and characterful archive to draw upon, it was imperative that the interface would tread lightly.
Three modules with basic envelopes + filters, a delay unit and some custom reverbs. This setup gives over 10 million possible combinations of sounds gathered over a 40 year career.
Fragments, Loops & Possibilities Scanner: Library features 401 original recordings + a library of 200 presets to get you started. Robin designed over 100 presets himself.
Most of the audio was recovered from cassette tapes, and features the famous police scanner recordings, electronic improvisations, location audio, analogue experiments and all manner of sonic ephemera.
"HollowTone is built on a simple but quietly ambitious idea: that a soundscape can be alive. Not just looping, not just evolving, but genuinely breathing as a world of its own. Instead of relying on samples or fixed recordings, it uses procedural audio, sound generated in real time through algorithms, to let each layer respond, shift, and intertwine like living matter.
Because every layer is synthesized at the moment you hear it, they can balance themselves, lean into each other, or gently collide in ways that feel organic and unpredictable. Mist, pulse, liquid motion, digital sparks, a whisper behind a veil - each one is its own environment, yet together they form a single, continuous dimension.
And that's the heart of HollowTone: a place where textures drift like fog, pulses echo through unseen structures, and strange atmospheres unfold with the quiet logic of dreamworlds and liminal spaces. You don't just listen to it. You step into it, and it keeps reshaping itself around you, endlessly."

This is a series of live noiz and video noiz performances. A continuation of improvisational noiz sessions during the persistence of The Human Plague and now war.
"Turning the M-VAVE FM-1 into a 4-track groovebox with the Sloop custom firmware.
Sloop completely changes the FM-1 workflow, giving you a compact groovebox setup with 4 tracks — 3 synths and 1 drum machine, plus real-time performance controls and effects.
For this jam, I recorded the FM-1 into Logic Pro, then added a little extra analog character using Magma Channel Stripand Abbey Road J37 Tape.
The goal was to keep the performance feeling raw and live, while adding a bit more warmth, saturation, and tape-style texture in the final mix.
