Here's how to sequence external gear with your Launchpad Pro, using a DAWless setup. The Pulsar 23 and Fireball are connected to the Launchpad Pro via midi, allowing the user to send midi notes and cc parameters to both the Fireball and Pulsar 23. This allows you to sequence and control each instrument. The Launchpad Pro is mapped to send midi to each drum track on the Pulsar 23, and another midi channel on the Launchpad Pro is mapped to sequence the Fireball. This DAWless setup is great for both music production and live performance.

Endorphin.es A New Eurorack Modular Arrives

"We, Endorphin.es are a group of synth enthusiasts from Vienna/ Austria, engineering modular synthesizers for sound design and contemporary art.

The summer of love starts today, on Friday 13th.

After a few years of development we would like to announce the first eurorack module from our upcoming product series, the "Furthrrrr Generator".

You maybe know, which famous module our "Furthrrrr Generator" is inspired by. Some of you already had the opportunity to hear plenty fabulous demos by Kent in his "Complete and total teaser thread: New Dual Osc w/waveshaping".

Main features:
* 30 HP width, up to 1" in depth (super slim and therefore skiff friendly)
* All analog signal path inspired by and based on famous west coast synthesis — a module within the idea of harmonic generation based on additive synthesis theory
* 2 discrete OTA triangle-core VCOs both with hard- (resetable) and soft- (inverting) syncs. The cores are self made custom encapsulated circuits with decent results of tracking (up to 6 octaves) as well as fine temperature stability
* Selectable tracking (1 or 1.2 v/oct) by setting a jumper (we believe at last a few wigglers will appreciate that)
* Bolted potentiometers, wobble free for heavy duty
* Multi-turn frequency knobs sweep up to 10 octaves
* Oscillator tuners that simply always work
* Of course, RoHS and cat friendly smile

The harmonical section of the carrier oscillator involves a complex chain of waveshapers, crossfaders, wavefolder as well as the "Mood Index" with amplitude-, balanced-, frequency- and timbre-modulation.
Every parameter is voltage controlled, interacts with and depends on each others position. The whole scheme is a bit complex for immediate understanding. We consider the better way to understand it, is to start with forgetting about the waveforms – just explore it. Here is kind of a starmap for you to imagine the possibilities:

The first batch of Furthrrrrs in on the way to the EU distributors. We are available at Schneiders Laden in Berlin and Hieber-Lindberg in Munich for the moment.
The list of retailers and their websites will be updated regularly.

From now on, we constantly produce new batches.
We are gaining pace in manufacturing – however we still need some time until we reach our full production volumes.

"Endorphin.es's new series of 6hp modules makes it possible to construct a versatile and excellent-sounding Eurorack system with a ridiculously small footprint. In this video, we show some of the potential of the Endorphin.es 2hp Power, Godspeed+, Squawk Dirty to Me, Airstreamer, and Milky Way alongside a Malekko Varigate 4+ and Korg Volca Kick.

Godspeed+ is an oscillator with built-in wave folder and self-modulation options, bringing some of the greatest sounds of the Furthrrrr Generator into a 6hp footprint. Squawk Dirty is a stereo digital filter with algorithms borrowed from the Grand Terminal. Airstreamer provides envelope generation, LFOs, and more, while the Milky Way offers voltage-controllable stereo effects, including delays, reverbs, and more.

All housed in a 4MS Pod case, this system proves that a small modular system is fully capable of huge sounds."

Signal path was either directly into the Focusrite interface or through common known modules such as a VCA modulated by an ADSR ...

Did some EQing/editing in Ableton and put some reverb on top.

It's no "pure" Endorphin.es/Furthrrrr Generator-Demo, but i guess the possibilities of the module are still recognizeable ;-)

The basedrum sound is also out of the EFG."

Endorphin.es BLCK NOIR (7 analogue drums with VCF, modulation, performance controls, FX & more!)

"**TIMING INDEX / SECTIONS BELOW** Here's the new BLCK_NOIR from Endorphin.es. It's a 7 voice drum module with 7 all analogue and discrete circuit drum voices. There's kick, snare, tambourine, closed and open hi hats, metallic beat and cymbal. Endorphin.es say this is fine tuned for Darkwave and Techno but you can of course use it for a wide range of styles. It's got a classic early/vintage drum machine vibe similar to the CR-78 in nature but with a few updates. You can tune and adjust the length of the kick (as well as saturate the mix out with it) there's tuning and noise level / noise decay for the snare then 5 additional noise based voices that share blend controls to adjust from white or metallic noise and you can also bit crush these for further variation. There's CV inputs for noise blend, bit crush, bass drum decay and snare decay/noise. There's an on board isolator style filter that will low pass and high pass and a resonance control both with CV. You can clock the module which allows you to play fills holding the drum buttons and as a secondary function with no clock you can finger drum or mute those parts too. There's a bonus sample and hold generated when the module is clocked (great to patch back into the module). Not only can you trigger the drums but you can also control them with an on board VCA accepting 0-5V to control the velocity of each sound. There's individual outs, a mono mixed out, a stereo line level / headphones out and those 8 great 'Airways' FX we've seen in the Grand Terminal. On paper, Ghost is like a console channel strip where you'll find EQ, compression, sidechaining and outboard gear for saturation, distortion, excitement, delay and reverb. A professional console can change the route between components with the touch of a button. Ghost can do that too, but the Ghost is only 16 HP. In real life, Ghost is a creative powerhouse. It can be used for 'in case' audio engineering (enhance your final mix) and used creatively by pushing the components beyond their limits. The volume knob is designed to give you 25% modeled analog distortion (creamy) instead of digital clipping (ugly). I tried to get it into feedback, but there's no internal noise. You need to hit it with a stick to get it going. After that, you'll be exorcising ghosts...
