"With the immense sonic potential of granular synthesis, Multigrain can transform your audio samples into everything from ethereal ambient drones to sputtering, alien machine techno, and virtually everything else in between. With ample assignable modulation inputs and real-time, performance-focused controls, the only limit is your imagination.

Part of a Nutritious Microsound Diet

Multigrain is an eight-channel stereo morphing granular sampler. Layer grains and sequence from the eight available Sounds—each one loaded from your microSD sample library, or recorded directly on the module. Each of the eight Sound Buttons plays grains generated from its own sample, and its own pair of Scenes—two completely different sets of granular parameters; a dedicated Morphing Fader and CV allow you to smoothly morph between these two Scenes. Dedicated Select, Next and Gate CV inputs allow you to sequence the playback of all eight Sounds.

Assignable X/Y/Z CV as well as an internal Random S&H generator, can be applied to any and all granular parameters at once. Assignable MOD A/B Outputs let you modulate other modules in time with Multigrain.

Projects and Presets allow you to save, load, and organize different sets of samples and settings. 48kHz 24-bit Stereo I/O and 32-bit floating point internal processing for Hi-Fi output."

"**** PRICED TO SELL!**** Original EMS Synthi oscillator board housed in a custom 63hp eurorack panel by Hinton Instruments. It has a few of the modifications Hinton carries out on synthi's such as shape c/v input, hi/lo range switch, variable sync with sync source switch. As far as I'm aware Graham has only done a couple of these. I'm the second owner. It has some rackrash marks from the previous owner. The module needs a strong stable power supply. I have used it with a Doepfer power supply for years and the module operates properly. But the module did not operate in a stable manner with Intellijel or 4ms power supplies. It also comes with a mint condition Klavis CalTrans eurorack module (boxed) which I have used in order to get a stable and wider pitch range. After shipment the buyer may need to calibrate the vco tuning. The oscillator board comes with its eurorack power cable. When the panel is not mounted in a case there is a very slight bend in the module front panel. When the module is mounted in a case the slight bend is not visible. 63hp."

"It's been a while since the last video...
While I have continued to do my musical experiments I have not been able to find the time to record and edit these videos. During this time I have sold a large part of my collection of pedals to keep those that I consider essential, or at least those that I enjoy the most. Which has led me to want to start exploring another vast world, which is that of modular synthesizers.

Since I smell that this is another drug worse than pedals, I have limited myself to a 62u Intellijel 'skiff'. I have a very clear and concise setup idea: a sampler (Arbhar) and modules that complement it, whether control (Pamelas's New Workout at the moment) and effects (for now I don't have any, I'm processing the sound in the Octatrack and Ableton). The idea is to be able to capture any sound from the studio in the Arbhar and use it as a starting point for granular synthesis.

In this particular clip I'm using a voice sample, another metallic percussion sample, and a Subharmonicon drone. I couldn't resist and added a lead on the Matriarch and acoustic guitar. It's probably the starting point of a more complete song but we'll see.

Patch Notes:
I sequenced all voices from Ableton using Univer Inter by @NoiseEngineering.
The lower octave voice is Acid Rain Chainsaw through Xaoc Zagrzeb and Mimeophon.
The lower lead voice is Basimilus Iteritas Alter through Ritual Electronics Guillotine and the Intellijel LPG. There is also a layer of this voice with a piano sample on the Disting.
The right hand melody are Plaits and 2hp Pluck through Forbidden Planet and Clouds.
The filters and some other characteristics of the voices are slightly modulated via PNW and Stages to keep it moving a little bit."

"A sequel to my Mannequins Silhouette ( • Silhouette by Mannequins // What is i... ) intro video. Pulled together all of the Mannequins by Whimsical Raps modules into one case, and created these 5 ambient drone patches, with a little help from Norns and some Intellijel utilities.

Intellijel Patch Ideas: Ring Mod Delay

"Here we have a Ring Mod Delay patch with Atlantix, Sealegs, Ring Mod 1U and Aux Mix 1U. With this combination, the feedback from the delay evolves through the ring modulator, causing the echoes to morph with each repeat. It can produce some wild results.

Patch notes:
• Dry Signal - Atlantix Out / Aux Mix CH1 / Main Out
• Delay Signal - Aux Mix Aux Out / Ring Mod X / Sealegs Delay (100% wet mix)/ Aux Mix CH2
• Use Aux Mix CH2 Aux Out to create the feedback loop
• Atlantix VCO B Sine out from MOD Y to Ring Mod Y
• VCO B's pitch can be static, track with VCO A or modulated (for example with Sample & Hold). This will effect the way the timbre of the delay."
