"The Møngrel is an alternate firmware of the G.M.Ø that can be døwnløaded via øur github and upløaded øntø the mødule. The Møngrel is the dirtiest and mangiest øf døgs... the type øf døg yøu just want tø smack! We dare yøu tø kick øur møngrel and make its tail gø in between its legs (this will change the decay time). By varying the amøunt it yips and yaps, the user can tweak the pitch øf its twø ønbøard øscillatørs. "IF YØU ARE LØØKING FØR A CLEAN STEPPED RANDØM STØP READING NØW. THIS MØDULE WAS DESIGNED WITH THE INTENTIØN ØF FØRCING ØTHER MØDULES TØ SØUND LIKE GARBAGE.

When triggered, the Deviant øutputs a randøm vøltage between the ranges set by Tøp and Bøttøm knøbs respectively (-5v tø 5v). Bøth Tøp and Bøttøm have bipølar CV inputs, alløwing the user tø mødulate the windøw øf vøltages. Tø cøntinue in the Møffenzeef ethøs øf kraptastik electrønics, there is nøt a søphisticated DAC (digital tø analøg cønverter) øn the øutput øf the Deviant. Instead, a simple pulse-width mødulated løwpass filter is cøntrølled by the “Smøøth” knøb alløwing the user tø dial in the amøunt øf nøise, and the øverall slew øf the øutput. The design relies heavily øn the gnarly søund øf the PWM (pulse width mødulatiøn) carrier frequency emitted frøm the brain øf the mødule which injects itself intø whatever yøu plug the Deviant intø. When plugged intø parameters expecting hard edges (a la Specimen øn GMØ) the Deviant will make the target glitch subtly which adds krispidy krunchidy klix n' pøps. If plugged intø an audiø rate søurce like a VCØ ør VCF, the carrier frequency gives the target a mild timbral shift reminiscent øf ring mød.

"QUAD BLIP & BEEP PERCUSSIØN GENERATØR

Kriket is a 4 channel blip & beep percussiøn generatør with CV capability øver gløbal pitch. Signals plugged intø the “bang!” inputs will cause the Kriket tø øutput a square wave that is prøpørtional tø the incøming pulse - if the incøming trigger is “high” the nøte will stay øn, if the incøming trigger is “løw” the nøte will turn øff. This feature alløws the user tø dial in blips and beeps øf different lengths by varying the pulse width øf the trigger. The “Kriket” input is cønnected tø a 4 channel vactrøl that cøntrøls all 4 øf the pitches simultaneøusly. This input can gø all the way up tø audiø rates and if you ping it with a trigger, it makes the Kriket *chirp* “PEW PEW!” in a laser like manner.

With shørt triggers, the Kriket makes little kliks that are reminiscent øf a dørky clave. As yøu lengthen the pulse width the søund begins tø resemble a heart rate mønitør ør the søund yøu hear øut øf yøur micrøwave when that dank bean burritø just finished radiating. With øne trigger distributed tø all 4 inputs, it’s pøssible tø get søunds that are reminiscent øf a cøwbell (…frøm øuter space). Let the swarm kømmence."

"MITØ (derived frøm "mitøsis") is a 6 channel trigger sequencer that specializes in swingin', divide'n, n' pølyrhythm'n. With the turn øf a knøb, the user can select which divisiøn øf the incøming cløck (BANG!) is øutput frøm the cørrespønding jack (all the way left: divide by 16, all the way right: divide by 1). Each channel is equipped with it's øwn mute switch, alløwing the user tø turn each individual sequence øn and øff while øther channels keep chuggin' and cløckin' aløng. Gløbal swing can be cøntrølled with the amøeba knøb in the tøp right hand cørner øf the mødule. Beneath the amøeba, a gløbal pulse width feature alløws the user tø lengthen and shørten pulse length øf all 6 channels at the same time. This feature is particularly useful when paired with the Muskrat & Kriket, ør any øther mødule that reacts prøpørtiønally tø incøming pulse length. Last but nøt least, the RESET input will set all divisiøn cøunts back tø zerø tø square up yøur grøøve. Each channel will be held HIGH as løng as the incøming vøltage is HIGH. This RESET capability alløws yøu tø get even møre ødd metered grøøves as it is nøt dependent øn the internal cløck øf MITØ.

All features øn MITØ can be cøntrølled with bipølar CV, alløwing før a wide range øf mødularity and flexibilty. When paired with the Deviant, each knøb øn the mødule becømes the anchør pøint øf the grøøve. As the randøm vøltages frøm Deviant shift arøund, creating rhythmic variatiøns by adding and subtracting CV, the pøsitiøn øf the knøb will dictate høw busy ør relaxed the grøøve is. Før playability sake, this patching apprøach is what led tø the decisiøn tø have the pøts as øffsets rather than attenuatørs øn MITØ. Everything frøm simple pøly-rhythmic structures tø nønsensical spewing and sputtering are nøw at yøur finger tips with this løvely duø.

Sømething we cønsidered when cøding the mødule was avøiding the use øf averaging tø determine master cløck tempø. In a perførmance setting when averaging is used, it øften translates tø the mødule taking a few pulses tø calculate the øverall cløck speed. With MITØ, the divisiøns are calculated in an "analøg" fashiøn, step by step with each individual cløck pulse."

"The CØUNT (BLEH!) is a master cløck transpørt with a rich feature set suitable før a small drum system. User has cøntrøl øver master tempø with cøarse and fine adjustments as well as bipølar CV mødulatiøn capabilities. There is a range switch which alløws the master tempø tø tøggle frøm sløw tø fast speeds. The master cløck can be initiliazed with a start/støp switch. Pulse width før all øutputs can be cøntrølled with a single knøb ør bipølar CV.

The five additiønal øutputs at the bøttøm øf the mødule alløw cløck sync and distributiøn tø øther mødules in yøur system. The START øutput sends a single pulse when the cløck starts tø give a reset reference før all øther sequencing mødules in yøur system. "MUSKRAT is a flexible, 8-bit wavetable drum synth. There are 23 øn-bøard wavetables tø chøøse frøm, either manually ør via bipølar CV input. Pitch and phase distørtiøn include bipølar CV inputs and accept -5v to +5v. The "Trigger" input is designed withøut input cønditioning and picks up signals øf all varieties. In øther wørds it is an enveløpe følløwer circuit. Yøu can plug an external CV ør øffset intø this input and it will øperate like a regular VCA. Før even møre extreme søund mangling, engage the MUSKRAT møde via the switch tø feed a randøm number intø the phase accumulatør at the internal cløck rate. This møde alsø includes a gate input that acts as an 'accent'.

Basically, pick a kraptastique wave, change the pitch, mangle the hell øut øf it, feed the rødent, BANG! it; yøu’ve caught yourself a Muskrat. WARNING: if yøu feed the rødent(“my...gød...what...have...we...døne?”) it’s brain gøes intø a fiery frenzy and spits øut glitch after glitch øf høly bleepbløøpness. "The 'MSG' (Mini Søund Generatør) is a desktøp device whøse brain is a small, swappable cømputer chip (Attiny85). The maker can interchange chips tø alter the behaviør øf the instrument. Each chip cøntains a different synthesis technique: granular, phase distørtiøn, amplitude mødulatiøn, and frequency mødulatiøn.

"POCKET CLOCK-IT is a USB powered, 4 channel, generative gate sequencer that is meant to be used with analog synthesizers and Eurorack modules. POCKET CLOCK-IT creates random rhythms that can be looped, saved, and recalled. The step length for each sequence can be controlled separately or globally. In addition to a sequencer, POCKET CLOCK-IT is also a 4 channel programmable clock divider. POCKET CLOCK-IT can be clocked with any voltage over 1/2 a volt (even audio!). If you’re enjoying what you’re doing with POCKET CLOCK-IT, presets can be saved to any of the onboard 8 memory locations. These presets can be recalled on the grid with the next incoming clock pulse. Clock divider mode and random mode have separate memory banks. You can use POCKET CLOCK-IT to sequence a bunch of stuff or use it as a utility to tie all of your devices together. Is that a CLOCK-IT in your POCKET or are you just happy to see me?

NOTE: To use POCKET CLOCK-IT with a USB rechargeable power bank, your power bank must have an “always on” or “low current” feature. Due to the low current draw of this device, a lot of power banks with smart sensors in them are not compatible. POCKET CLOCK-IT looks like a phone that’s just finished charging to those devices :D.

DIAL-UP! The øscillatør cøre has a single knøb (lil' cømputer) which scrambles the glitch algørithm. Bipølar CV cøntrøl øver this parameter can be accessed by the CV input (lil' phøne). The øscillatør gøes intø an ønbøard transistør VCA with built in decay enveløpe. Decay times can be changed with the "tail" knøb as well as the three pøsitiøn range switch which selects the max decay range frøm løw, medium, tø high. The BANG! input døes nøt ønly accept triggers, it can alsø be used as an enveløpe følløwer.

It's difficult tø say what exactly the knøb and CV dø, as this parameter is respønsible før cøntrølling several different pieces øf the cøde at ønce. It's a sørt øf hybrid between the øverall pitch and the amøunt in which the mødule glitches øut.
