"First patch utilizing the Blue Lantern ZTVCO's (two), Diode filter, cv expander and joystick modules.

Korg Z1 arpeggio sent via midi to Vermona Qmi (Quad midi interface)

Qmi gate multed and sent to 3 VCA's on the HEXvca by Intellijel

Qmi cv sent to each ZTVCO and the Synth Tech Cloud Generator

Cloud generator set on four sine waves, spread controlled by BL joystick (Y)
output to Korg Kaoss pad on etherial delay.

ZTVCO one, left, sine wave output to BL Diode filter then to VCA to mixer. Diode filter getting cv control from (X) direction on joystick.

ZTVCO two, right, sine wave output to Plague Bearer then to VCA to mixer. Half way through the video I add reverb to the ZTVCO mixer channel."

Joe Goddard Interview (Hot Chip, The 2 Bears) on Music Production and Genelec Monitors...

YouTube Uploaded by SourceDistributionTV on Feb 28, 2012

"Joe Goddard founded Hot Chip along with Alexis Taylor back in 2000, but as we learn during this interview shot in Joe's home studio in London, the roots of the band that became Hot Chip started long before that. Goddard most recently released an album as 'The 2 Bears', working with friend and DJ Raf Rundell, and much of their music and remixes as The 2 Bears and originated in that very room.

About a year ago, Goddard bought a pair of Genelec 8250 Bi-Amplified DSP Loudspeakers to improve his mixing capabilities at home. The 8250's feature a thing called AutoCal - the speakers adapt themselves to the acoustics of the room. The biggest benefit, as Joe outlines, is that AutoCal can work wonders on problem bass frequencies present in the room - something that is difficult to solve even with acoustic treatment. Source Distribution's Genelec specialist Steve Fisher visited Joe's studio and calibrated the 8250's - we think Joe says it best in terms of how his mixes improved after that.

M569, Control Yourself! Part2

YouTube Uploaded by JohnLRice on Feb 29, 2012

"Picking up where I left off last time, although I left most of the lights off for fun. (same Sony VX700 camcorder)

The question was asked if the Moon Modular 569 Quad Sequential Step Sequencer can somehow have the timing of each row be different without using an eternal clock divider etc. The answer is YES, it IS possible by using one row's gate output to control another's row's tempo. In part two I show how turning different gates on and off on a row affect the timing of the rows below it.

Discussion thread is here: http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=53628"
