"Big, meaty three-oscillator virtual analog synth, with the option for wavetables or samples on Osc 1. Sledge has been described as a stripped down, knob-per-function Blofeld (the sound engine is by Waldorf), and having played the Blofeld I can say that's about right."

Side note: I discovered the video series by George Hall from this listing, and thought it deserved its own post.

"The Octave Fuzz is our take on the classic 70's SuperFuzz circuit, made into a Eurorack module. We've also improved on some aspects of the original as well, including an increased output.

-Two distinct voices like the original-switchable between scooped midrange, massive midrange bump.

-Agressive sounding. It will sound massive and in-your-face like no other circuit can. This is for sonic explorers and heavy music only. In short, it's not useful for EVERYTHING, but the things it DOES do it excels at. Sounds especially killer for keyboard and bass sounds.

Features:

- Scoop switch for a 'scooped' mirange, or to have a midrange boost.

- CV input over the Expander part of the circuit (similar to gain)

- True wet/dry mix.

- 6hp

- 35mm (1 3/8") Deep

Current Draw:

24mA @ -12v

32mA @ +12v

0mA @ +5v"

"Roland D50 used for the piece.

Additional support modules from the Eurorack are used for coloration and a loop drone at the end. Modules include Zvex Instant Lo Fi Junky, Mutable Instruments Clouds, The Harvestman Piston Honda, Makenoise Maths, Phonogene & Echophon, TipTop Z-DSP (Valhalla Shimmer), and Music Thing Turing Machine.

The D50 was run into a synthesizers.com Q118 Instrument Interface for gain prior to the modular and the final stereo output from the Z-DSP was sent through a dotcom Q113 Mixer.

Seven tracks recorded in Cubase, video edited in Final Cut Pro."

Yes you do!

I hear you can hypnotize teachers with that T-Shirt. It's a green on black thing. Always puts you in a trance. Just ask Roland.
