Blade Runner Sound — on microKORG!

Published on Jan 5, 2019 StrangeQuarkStar

"Everybody loves the signature Vangelis sound. Very few have access to a Yamaha CS 80. Hence this tutorial!

This new version of my old tutorial comes courtesy of YouTube turning off video annotations in January 2019, which the old one relied on. At least we're getting a better video with updated parameters out of the deal ;-)

The reverb used is coming from Valhalla DSP's Vintage Verb, adjusted to mimic Vangelis' classic Lexicon 224 model."

"Here is an EMS Synthi AKS in exceptionally fresh condition. Note it's almost mint except for some cracks in the plastic cover of the KS barely visible, and just cosmetic issues, other than that it has to be the cleanest example around. Fully working, no modifications, no rust whatsoever, no glitchy keyboard. Power cord and Synthi to KS cord included."

"If you're here you know about how awesome these are! I picked out the modules and bought this synth new just over a year ago. The synth works beautifully, Its so fat!!! Sadly I need to sell it to pay for other things. This Synth and its components are in very good condition. Everything works. The total cost of all these items new from their website runs well over $16,000. I was going to list this synth at 12,000 and accept offers but I really just want to sell it. 11,000 is a fair price. That's 2/3rds the new cost of this monolith. If you're trying to get a lot of modules this is a great deal!! I assume if you're here you've already been considering buying a new one. I present a cost saving alternative.
