"If you have the embarrassment of riches of having two different guitar synthesizers that you want to drive from one guitar, well, you need this box!"

Pic of the inside below.

C-24C via this auction

"This is a latched male to female cable that is around 16 feet in length. This is the basic standard cable that was supplied with units back in the glory days of hexaphonic guitar synths. This was in the storage of an ex music equipment dealer along with the switcher that is also listed at this time."

This is a supporting member listing.

"The rarest of rare, The DS-2A is a pre- digital music sequencer. Designed and built in 1974 by Tom Oberheim , it is considered one of the first ever digital musical sequencers. It pre-dates Tom's famous SEM and was Tom's first real synthesizer product. The DS-2A is capable of storing and sequencing 144 notes and provides a single channel of CV/Gate input and output."

"Beautiful vintage 1983 Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, rev. 3.3 with factory MIDI and expanded patch memory storage (120 programs instead of 40 on previous versions). This synth is in great shape both functionally and cosmetically, last serviced about 5 years ago at Borish Electronics in Chicago. The original flight case is a little beat up but still 100% functional. Great opportunity to own one of the most iconic synths of all time at a reasonable price."

Roland JX-3P Original Music Demo 60 FPS Video

video upload by SynthaTone

"All sounds are pure JX-3P, embelished with a little Sanford reverb, recorded live in multitrack monophonic audio with Reaper. The JX-3P chorus was not used. The visualization is Milkdrop 2.25c, generated and captured at 60 frames per second."

Brass sound with Sequential OB-6 (no talking)

"No EQ. No compression. Only internal effects. Pure sound."

DRUM MACHINE Review and Buyers Guide Part 1

video upload by Noisegate

"Drum machines have come a long way in a relatively short period of time. If you think about the first fully programmable drum machines such as the Roland legendary TR-808, that was only a little over 40 years ago. Roland’s first MIDI drum machine, the House and Techno queen that is the TR-909 was manufactured in 1982. It’s nice to reminisce about the 1980s when drum machines became popular, although there’s been some modern classics during this millennium including the Elektron MachineDrum from 2001 and Dave Smith Tempest from 2011. Today there are a plethora of new drum machines all with amazing new features. Yes, many manufacturers these days politely provide a nod to the classics such as the 808, 909 and LinnDrum through to the modern classic in their designs. Here is our mega drum machine guide for the current drum machines that are being manufactured. This project became so big, that we had to split it into two parts, so here is part 1:

Check out the specs and the bits we love from each of these drum machines here: https://noisegate.com.au/drum-machine...

If you think that was mega, we’ve still got plenty more. We’ll be covering the Roland TR-8s, Korg Drumlogue, Erica Synths Perkons and more in part 2...!!

Another one spotted by M Me.

Note the only ins and outs are on the front panel. It appears to be some sort of drum machine sequencer. If you know and/or can translate the controls, let us know in the comments below.

National (Panasonic) also made the RF-1300 and SY-50 Rhythm Machines as seen in previous posts.

Update: See the comments at the bottom of this post for more.
