Custom Original 3 Voice Oberheim SEM System

"Custom original 3 voice sem. Rare occasion to get your Oberheim Modular. If 4 voice is too much and 2 voice is too little this is the one for you. The 2 voice Oberheim doesn’t have a global filter control Like the 4 voice. You can do it with this one simply play the 2 sem and send the signal into audio in of the third sem and voila.
The sequencer is a copy of the original with extras ( noise generator + plus mute triggers)
Was placed in a cabinet with a chipped corner, I was suppose to put it in a real wood cabinet but I didn’t have time to make one. Can be a great project. The three sem work perfectly And sound amazingly good. Great modulation just check the patch possibilities on the picture.

"Extremely rare vintage ARP MSL Model 1509 VCA parts.
For a description of the ARP Modular Synthesizer Lab (aka MSL), see http://synthmuseum.com/arp/arpmsl01.html 'The MSL was designed for classroom instructional use, a cheap alternative to the 2600, this system consists of individual battery-powered modules similar to those found in the second generation of ARP Odysseys. The basic setup included the keyboard and the VCO (modules 1504), VCF (module 1506), envelope (module 1506) and a battery operated amplifier/speaker modules. Also available were modules for LFO, VCA (module 1509 in this listing), noise(module 1503), sample-and-hold (module 1507), ring modulator, multiple (module 1510), and mixer/atenuator. The modules are connected by mini cables (grey, yellow, or red), and were designed to be used with or without a keyboard. ARP sold each module for between $40 (for the multiple module 1510) to around $70. The keyboard sold for around $175. They drafted workbooks, one for each module, with a comprehensive teacher's manual.'

"Today I'll be showing you the Altar 2, a very good sounding and looking analog 18dB/octave state variable discrete filter, made by Ritual Electronics in Marseille, France.
Because of it's look and the fact there's no filter in the Buchla & Tiptop Audio line Ive decided to use it in my 'Buchla Suitcase' for a recent two weeks modular class and everyone liked it there.

The Ritual Electronics Altar is a 3-pole 18db/oct state-variable filter with the ability to smoothly crossfade between filter types. The module's resonance has an attenuverter in it's CV input which allows for quick bumps in the resonance that can act as "accents" to liven up your patterns. Additionally the module's input gain can drive the filter core into distortion, and the ability to run two inputs into the filter allows you to push it even harder. This combined with the module's crossfading filter design give Altar multiple options for ever changing, yet still very rich timbres.

"A simple sequence as an exercise to become familiar with the new TipTop ART modules.
The most immediate thing I can tell you is that pressing a simple button to easily have the 3 oscillators perfectly tuned was a great feeling.
The three voices (2 ATX1 ART Analog VCOs and 1 Vortex ART Wavetable VCO) are controlled by the Torso T-1 via Midi through the Octopus (USB/Midi to Art Interface+Voices Manager), Ripples as filter on all three voices and delay by the Warps (alternative firmware). Reverb and mono-to-stereo magic from the TX-6."
