I have spent the past couple of weeks developing some custom Multi Engine Oscillators for the ‪@korgukofficial‬ 'Logue' synths.

First One is a 4 Operator FM oscillator,
Second is a Thru Zero FM Osc with Wave A having 46 Waveforrms and Wave B having 44 waveforms all within the osc, for TZFM it has the the ability to send waveforms A to B or B to A which gives endless sonic opportunities.

The Third Multi Engine Oscillator (still in development but nearing completion) is a dual Wave A&B again each with 64 completely different waveforms, This Osc includes Step Modulator which will step through the 64 waveforms per note played. Oscillator with some nice additional features included with it which I will update you all with soon.

I was testing them out during development in the Minilogue XD and last night decided to send the FM and TZFM to the Prologue 16, these Oscillators will be included in my Prologue Elixir Vol.1 Bank Free of charge. and Vastly increase thew sonic capabilities of the Prologue!

A built-in note quantizer locks your pitch to any of 25 scales, while the tuning modes let you dial in everything from fixed chord voicings to free microtonal tuning. Oscillator mixing and stereo panning are controlled through morphing systems, so a single knob sweep transforms your entire mix at once. The signal then flows through a stereo multi-mode filter, overdrive, and a choice of reverb or delays.

The 12-key capacitive keyboard responds to finger contact area, generating a continuous pressure signal that can be routed throughout the instrument. Vieni Uomo

"This song, titled 'Vieni Uomo,' is inspired by the Italo disco dance music of the 1980s.

This piece was actually recorded using some analog electronic synthesizers and string machines from the 1980s, such as the Crumar Bit99, Crumar Multiman-S, and Solton Programmer 24. The vocal part also features a barely audible Hammond organ background. This part is played along with the String Machine connected to an analog phaser. Other synthesizers I used include the Prophet 6 and the Korg Prologue 16 for some solo parts. For the vocal part, I used the full analog GRP V22 vocoder, which is truly fantastic.

For the drum machine, I used a vintage Dynacord P20-8 bit from the 1980s.

I also used an Oberheim OB-X8 to create an adaptation break before the vocoder part.

This song truly evokes 1980s Italo Disco music, and the sound is typical of that genre.

I'll post a later video detailing the recording process for this song, track by track.

The song is scheduled for release on major streaming platforms on December 3, 2025."

"Even though I’ve got dozens of unfinished projects on my trusty Teenage Engineering OP-XY (some of them almost ready) I felt the need to break the cycle. I had the sense I was starting to repeat myself. So I turned to one of my favorite analog synths, the KORG minilogue xd, looking for a patch that could spark something new. And from that came this track… though I’m still not sure what exactly it is.

As usual, the atmosphere is dark, but halfway through it unexpectedly takes on a rock-inspired twist before returning to its original mood. I even tried reworking the idea on the OP-XY to make it more polished (and complex), but in the end I decided to record it raw—exactly as it came to me.

Hope you enjoy it. I plan to explore this same process on other synths as well. Let me know in the comments if this journey through analog synth sound design intrigues you.

"Dusting off good old ROLAND SBF-325 FLANGER and moving pots to remove oxidation.
A user ask whether the SBF-325 was capable of 'JET FLANGING' and I think it, but you have to enhance the signal before entering the unit a bit in order to gain more overtones either by wavefolding, distorsion and similar measures or simply by adding noise to it. I think that is the trick.
