"The Aira TB-3 and Volca Bass singing together making a strange kind of space music.

Testing out the new TB-3 and the 'Midi Solutions Quadra-thru' midi splitter. The Kp3 is connected to the microKORG,Bass,Beats, and TB-3 through the quad splitter. The samples are from the first episode of "Firefly". We had made three videos/jams this saturday and this was the clear winner of the bunch. The other two will be posted through the week so we don't get even more back-logged on video up-loads. More happy springtime like sounds. Enjoy.

"Synthesis Technology e350 Morphing Terrarium being modulated by several other modules via WMD Sequential Switch Matrix.
Modcan Dual Delay on Aux bus of Intellijel Dubmix.

No filters used. This is the e350 XY and Z output into a µVCA with the Dual Delay on an auxiliary channel of the dubmix being modulated for panning and effects send.
The dual VCA feeds two separate channels on the dubmix. Maths provides envelopes to the µVCA.

"My friend went on holiday and lent me his TR-8, got around to trying to do something with it this evening and these are some beats and riffs I came up with.

Hooked up my Analog4 (which I still haven't given it the time it deserves to fiddle around with!) for a bit of extra flavour running through the external in on the TR-8.

The TR-8 is relatively straight forward, this take is after using it for maybe an hour or two and watching a couple youtube tips n tricks videos.

"Arp's version of Little Bits, Odyssey in module form"

You can find previous posts including video of the ARP Educational modules here. Not sure if these compare to the Odyssey though. I seem to recall mention in previous posts that they weren't quite as powerful sounding, however according to synthmuseum.com, they were "Designed for classroom instructional use, a cheap alternative to the 2600, this system consists of individual battery-powered modules similar to those found in the second generation of ARP Odysseys. The basic setup included the keyboard and the VCO (modules 1504), VCF (module 1506), envelope (module 1506) and a battery operated amplifier/speaker modules. Also available were modules for LFO, VCA (module 1509), noise(module 1503), sample-and-hold (module 1507), ring modulator, multiple (module 1510), and mixer/atenuator. The modules are connected by mini cables (grey, yellow, or red), and were designed to be used with or without a keyboard. ARP sold each module for between $40 (for the multiple module 1510) to around $70. The keyboard sold for around $175."

"Getting to know the Buchla 251e Quad Sequential Voltage Source module.

I set up 3x voltage sources:

1 - as a 4 to 7 note sequence for main pitch

2 - as a Harmonic Minor scale quantizer that was used to transpose the main pitch

3 - was set 0-10v (in one volt increments) for filter dynamics

Heavy use of voltage mixing along with creative 266e QRV & SRV.... then saved variations into the Preset Manager.

It dawned on me tonight really how cool 1.2 Volts per octave is to program scales....... since I'm a guitar player, it exactly like the frets of a guitar neck:

0 = open string
.1 = 1st fret
.2 = 2nd fret
etc.... on up to 1.2 = 12th fret = octave
