"Most folks searching for this will know what this unit is. The Receptor is a dedicated VST processor, synth module, and mixer, essentially a great replacement for a computer that does most everything a PC can do in the studio except run the actual recording and sequencing software. It has its own dedicated operating system that makes all this intuitive, more so with a monitor keyboard and mouse. You can also make presets and then throw it in a rack and use it live without the accessories, and it has MIDI and multiple USB inputs.

Muse Research Receptor Komplete 1.0 is the full model number for this unit. It's in basically new condition, never left the house. Works perfectly, absolutely no issues. This is the green face one that shipped with Native Instruments Komplete 5, which is installed and ready to use (though the discs are not included). Here's what comes with this listing:

Musr Receptor Komplete 1.0
Rack ears
Dell keyboard
Dell 14" LCD monitor
Microsoft optical mouse
IEC power cords for monitor and Receptor
VGA cord for monitor"

"8x2 CV and gate sequencer for eurorack by HexInverter. The panel is setup for a special extra slow clock rate mod with push/pull action. In one position the clock rate goes from super slow to medium, in the other position the clock rate is adjustable from medium to audio rate. Two completely independent 8x1 step sequencers that can be slave linked to each other to make 8x2. CV outs on each as well as trigger/gate outs, pause and reset controls as well as adjustable sequence length. Blue LED's for that modern look. Fantastic useful module for your modular synthesizer, ready to go."

AltiSpace - Convolution Reverb for iPad and iPhone

"The realistic sound of famous reverb equipment for your iPad and iPhone! Includes a large built-in library of the highest quality reverb impulses taken from actual devices and the possibility to upload your own reverb space impulses. Intuitive and compact user interface for maximum ease and efficiency. More details: http://audio-mastering-ipad.com"

Note this is from the creator of Master FX, currently my favorite effects app on the iPad. I found that many effects apps for iOS tend to distort or have an unpleasant digital character to them. Not so with Master FX - they are smooth, subtle and rich.

Moog Werkstatt Mods by Laurentide Synthwerks Continued

via Laurentide Synthwerks

"I designed a panel for the row of jacks I'll be adding to the back. Most of them are just taken right from the header patchbay. Instead of a straight VCO out, I'll route the square and saw waves to separate jacks. I'll more than likely remove the jumper on the PCB between the VCO and VCF and normal it to the Audio IN. This way I can send audio through without the VCO mixed in. Having the saw and square waves separate I can route those through modules and add other VCO's, then through a mixer and back into the Audio IN on the Werkstatt. The overall plan is is to keep everything relatively simple but still useful. The thing that makes the Werkstatt so much fun is its simplicity. I could go crazy and add a daughter board with a 2nd VCO with saw/square/triangle, a mixer section, a noise source, S&H, etc etc etc all with SMD parts, then create a new case with knobs and switches galore.... but why?! I have plenty of other synths that do that.

I may add a midimplant though. We shall see.

EDIT: of course I messed up on the panel above. Labeled VCO Square out as Tri. Bummer I already ordered it. Oh well. I wanted to add another hole so I can have an out for each of the LFO wave anyway.

Once I nail down a panel design, I'll offer to do this mod if there's enough interest."

Tristan Perich Surface Image at Mass MoCA (7/16) and Caramoor (7/20) - Piano Meets 1-Bit Sounds

"Vicky Chow performs Tristan Perich's Surface Image this afternoon in the galleries at Mass MoCA (North Adams, MA) and on Sunday at Caramoor (Katonah, NY). Placing the solo piano within a dense frenzy of 1-bit sound, Surface Image is an hour-long concerto for piano and primitive electronics. Forty loudspeakers, each wired to hand-built circuit boards, blanket the stage and accompany Chow’s playing, accumulating in a dense polyphonic cascade of piano notes and 1-bit tones. Today's Mass MoCA performance is part of Bang on a Can Plays Art, and Caramoor's as part of "In the Garden of Sonic Delights", with Volume VI.

"Offered for auction is a 1974-75 ARP Odyssey Model 2800, MKI, Analog Synthesizer with the CV/Gate/Trigger interface jacks installed (ARP mod kit #6800101). Serial Number is 282648. It turns on and gives a variation of sounds, but is not functioning properly. The unit is being sold “AS IS”. It is missing two slide potentiometers for the VCO 2 section. All other pots and switches are present but would probably benefit from a good cleaning."

Monotrome - Death Ray Sunshine

Published on Jul 16, 2014 Monotrome

"Some sequencing fun with the MakeNoise René and the MFB Urzwerg. The main sequence is the MakeNoise STO and two sub oscillators generated by the Doepfer A-160. The second sequence is the MFB Nanozwerg, the "death ray" sound is the Mutable Instruments Braids in WLIN mode with some parameter modulation from Pressure Points's pressure out.

The movie clips were taken from 'Mexican Hat Dance' (https://archive.org/details/MexicanHatDa) and "Sheree Tiger Dance" (https://archive.org/details/ShereeTigerD), both of which are in the public domain."

Entrospec Iungo Drum Sequence Demo

Published on Jul 16, 2014 Entrospec

"Using Iungo in polyphonic sequencer mode as a 5 part drum sequencer.
The Faderfox MIDI controller sends note data to the Iungo, then out to the Vermona DRM1. Part way through MIDI Thru is turned off so programming new patterns doesn't affect the live MIDI stream to the Vermona.
Iungo is clocked by channel 4 end of cycle from Maths in cycle mode, with a voltage offset to the "both" input controlling overall speed of the clock.
At the end the clock is increased to demonstrate what can be achieved by sending MIDI at up to audio rates from Iungo."

Some info via modular grid:

"Voltage controlled MIDI

Stored MIDI data accessed via cv and gate inputs.

Banks will store up to 16 notes and rests. Each note can have an independent MIDI channel.

Each bank can also store 1 program change message.

5 memory locations to store patches

“Chord” mode outputs all notes in a bank simultaneously when triggered.

“Seq” mode outputs each note in a bank consecutively upon receiving a gate signal.

“Poly Seq” mode runs all 5 banks in sequencer mode simultaneously.

The length of each bank is independent, allowing for more complex sequences to be produced.

Chords and sequences can be transposed via the MIDI input.

Velocity of MIDI data is determined by the amplitude of the gate signal.

MIDI input and output via 2.5mm stereo jack to 5 pin DIN cables. The same format adopted by iOS devices.

141 mm Depth"
