"Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Revision 3.3 demo of all 120 factory patches recorded flat with no equalisation or effects. This one is a virgin without midi - for people who have hands. I have limited keyboard skills but I think you can get a good idea of what is possible with this classic analog from my half an hour of random noodling. This one is in nice cosmetic condition having been stored in a cupboard unused for over twenty years... Originally bought from Rod Argent's keyboard shop in Denmark Street London when I was working there in the 1980s. Now available for sale if anyone is interested - it has been cleaned, tuned and the keys have been re-bushed so it sounds and feels like new."

"Julian Pollack/J3PO is a pianist, keyboardist, and producer. Described by Timeout New York as a musician who “deftly balances virtuosity with tenderness,” Julian is an in-demand sideman as well a leader of his own projects. When he was 18 years old, having just moved to New York City from his native California hometown of Berkeley, he was featured on Piano Jazz, hosted by Marianne McPartland, the syndicated NPR radio program. Professionally, Julian has recorded and performed with the likes of Marcus Miller, Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Louis Cato (The Tonight Show), David Binney, The Lesson GK, Matt Chamberlain, Tim LeFebrve, Mike “Maz” Maher (Snarky Puppy), Grace Kelly, Ari Hoenig, Chris Bullock (Snarky Puppy), Nir Felder, Gil Goldstein (Esperanza Spalding), Chase Baird (Antonio Sanchez), Amanda Brown (Adele), Evan “EMAR” Marien, Grace Weber, and many others. He has played an integral role in the band The Lesson GK, which has held the famed “Lesson” Jam Session at Arelene’s Grocery on the Lower East Side of New York every Thursday night for many years. In 2019, Julian (as J3PO) will release his new album Small Plates, a collection of 12 tracks that range from simple lo-fi beats to complex jazztronica future house joints. Inspired by analog synths and sample-based music, the album fuses Julian’s love for today’s contemporary production styles with a nod to the jazz tradition and the spontaneity of live music and improvisation. Julian lives in Los Angeles, California.

The intro sequence was produced via multitrack-recording using patches from the OB-6 "OB STUDIO" soundset offered here. All sounds were recorded without any external signal processing directly from a DSI OB-6. All effects came from the OB-6.

"System 80's 810 eurorack module has the full analog signal path for a synthesizer voice, the VCO, VCF and VCA. These are circuits from vintage Roland synthesizers with great sounding PWM on the VCO and the classic OTA 12/24db filter. Just add a sequencer or controller and a couple of envelopes and this module makes a complete synthesizer.

We sequenced everything in this video with Malekko's Varigate 4+ and Voltage Block and added drums from Endorphin.es Blck_Noir.

"Alesis Ion 49 Key Analog Modeling Synthesizer (stand not included). Synthesizer is in fantastic condition, everything works, knobs turn, wheels turn, buttons push, everything lights up, output is fine through headphones and aux, never used the MIDI. "This is just a little multitrack I put together for the fun of it. The Multimoog is truly a strange little synth. You can't set the 2 oscillators to different ranges, sync effect is hard to controll... the list goes on. But I love it for it's features and quirks. Specially for the Filter mod by the oscillators. You can also do the audio in thing when you boost the filter from its own audio out. In this song the tracks haven't been manipulated in any way, only effekt is some delay on solo and some reverb on the FX tracks. EZDrummer for... drums."
