GS Music e7 even the saw inspires

video upload by Scott McAuley Sounds

"Patches will be available at https://www.orano.co.uk/shop or http://www.synthsounds.co.uk

This is a chilled downtempo track that was inspired purely from the e7 saw, it's just mind blowing how powerful its saw is. all synth parts in this track are from e7.

I have now completed the first bank for the GS Music e7, and this synth really is something special! so much inspiration can be drawn from it, it truly has what i believe to be the fattest sounding saw in my studio.

This track is minimal, simplistic in its form but the e7 just made it come together, but that SAW!!! wow!!

fair to say, I love what ‪@GSMusicArg‬ have done with this!

enjoy
Scott."

Creating a Track with the new Sequential Fourm | Voltage Labs

video upload by Voltage Labs

"In this video, we dive into the brand-new Sequential Fourm, a 4-voice analog synthesizer with vintage character and modern features. Inspired by classics like the Prophet-5 and Pro One, the Fourm brings a timeless sound in a compact, affordable package."

Born Slippy/Underworld (Circuit Tracks Instrumental)

video upload by Guinan

"This iconic tune (featured in the movie, ‘Trainspotting’) is another classic piece of techno from Underworld. This is a bit of a test if I could get anywhere near the sound using just the Circuit Tracks. The main iconic sound synth was apparently produced using a Waldorf Microwave which is a very different synth architecture than the Tracks.

This version was programmed and recorded straight from the Novation Circuit Tracks.

More details for synth nerds.
140BPM
Synth 1 – Pad sound using Digital Vocal waveforms 1 & 6. The original pad has a very sampled vocal tone from the wavetable used so I mixed in some modulated noise to try and get at least part of the same effect.
Synth 2 – percussive sawtooth chords with delay (apparently dotted 8ths on the original but it didn’t sound right so I’ve used 8th delay (preset 11)).
Drum 1- booming 909 techno bass drum.
Drum 2 – 909 hihats and open hihat.
Drum 3 – this might be contentious but ‘the Internet’ suggests Underworld used a loop from the sample CD ‘Best Service:Dance Mega Jungle Rave’. What you are hearing therefore is sample ‘140 25.wav’ from this set I found by searching online. Opinion suggests that even if it wasn’t from this CD both they and Underworld sampled it from the same source?
Drum 4 – this is reserved for the vocal samples – surprising how essential to the song they are!"

Collab Jam #2 with @pfmdude - TD's Love on a Real Train

"Time for another collab with Paul Farvour (@pfmdude).
It's based on a cover I made a while back as a tech demo on the JD-Xi of Tangerine Dream's Love on a Real Train.

Synapse Dune 3: 50 Rhythmical Presets. No Talk Sound Demo

video upload by Anton Anru

"🌘 Eclipse Rhythms is a bank of 50 dreamy rhythmical presets for Synapse Audio Dune 3. The main goal was to create atmospheric sounds, somewhat pad-like, but with a rhythmic pattern. This bank focuses primarily on the use of MSEGs
and LFOs to create complex rhythms. You only need to hold down a chord on the keys or
program a MIDI part in your DAW to generate a rich rhythmic pattern.

πŸ“¦ Get these presets: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/dune...
πŸ‘€ The author of the soundset is skendi (Arseniy Pushkov).

☄️The soundset spans a wide range of tones, from warm, deep and atmospheric textures to clean, punchy, bright and airy timbres.
The sounds include different combinations of oscillators in different modes, such as wavetable and FM, as well as different types of reverbs, delays, distortions, filters, and modulations.

πŸŽ› ModWheel adds expressiveness—brightening the sound, introducing vibrato, or adding extra movement for dynamic performance.

πŸ’Ž The soundset is suitable for many genres: ambient, electronica, cinematic, retrowave, synthwave, darkwave, IDM, downtempo, pop, chill out, new age, progressive, techno, breaks, jungle, drum and bass, and others. Inspired by Clark, Jon Hopkins, and Arca.

The soundset doesn't include patterns/sequences/chord progressions.
πŸ’‘ Ensure that you are using the latest software version.
To add presets to the collection, open the plugin Browser, click Menu in the upper left corner, then select Import Folder, and specify the folder on your computer."

Reverb unveils a new Wallet experience, helping music makers fund their next sound faster

With Reverb Wallet, music makers get more money for their gear with a 1% cash back bonus, faster earnings, and future access to exclusive perks

September 25, 2025 —Reverb, the largest online marketplace dedicated to music gear, today announced a new way to experience one of its most beloved features: Reverb Wallet. Now, music makers can get even more money for their gear when opting to keep earnings from sales of gear on Reverb in their Reverb Wallet, taking advantage of a 1% cash back bonus, faster earnings, and future access to exclusive perks that can help them fund their new sound faster.

With the newly imagined Reverb Wallet, US sellers can earn an extra 1% cash back on their sales when they store their funds on Reverb. Payments from sales will be stored in their Reverb Wallet, with funds transferring quickly and securely, giving them quicker access to the millions of pieces of music gear on Reverb.

Said Reverb’s Chief Technology Officer, Jason Wain: “One of the most important parts of music making is trying out new sounds. Whether you’re upgrading from an Epiphone Les Paul to a Gibson, or starting a new project that needs the dreamy tone of a Roland Juno rather than the gritty sound of the Moog Grandmother, we want to make that journey as easy as possible. . With Reverb Wallet, players get access to more gear when they turn their old guitars, synths, pedals, and other instruments into higher earnings that help them refresh their rig.”

Not only is the new Reverb Wallet backed by a trusted and regulated payments platform, it will also offer access to exclusive perks over the coming months. Music makers can keep an eye out for notifications for timely promotions.

Sellers on Reverb can take advantage of the cash back bonus and faster earnings available via the new Reverb Wallet by:

Logging into their Reverb account and visiting their "Shop Settings."
Selecting "Reverb Wallet” in the payment settings section on the “Policies” page.
It’s that easy!

The unveiling of the new Reverb Wallet experience follows the marketplace’s recent return to independence. After years under Etsy, Reverb was purchased by two new investors: Creator Partners, which also invests in BMI, SoundCloud, Color Studios, and Mogul; and Servco, which has been involved in musical instruments since 1937, including their role in buying Fender back from CBS in 1985, ultimately leading to their purchase of a majority stake in the brand in 2020.

Introducing LCO Producer Strings by Native Instruments

videos upload by Native Instruments

"Step inside the studio with the London Contemporary Orchestra – boundary-breaking musicians known for bold orchestrations and collaborations with Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift, Radiohead, and beyond. Shape colourful string textures with expressive four-layer control and creative articulations, all recorded at London’s iconic RAK Studios."

Press release follows:

Add magic to your music with the London Contemporary Orchestra

Get in the conductor's chair and guide the avant-garde orchestra with NI’s latest Kontakt instrument

Berlin, September 25, 2025 – Native Instruments is proud to present LCO Producer Strings. The new Kontakt instrument puts the sound of one of the world’s most adventurous ensembles into the hands of producers everywhere, from bedroom creators to film composers. An ensemble celebrated for its fearless and innovative approach, the LCO has scored award-winning films like Deadpool & Wolverine, and collaborated with visionary artists including Radiohead, Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd.

LCO Producer Strings delivers emotional depth through modern, gritty, and glitchy string textures, with all sounds captured at London’s iconic RAK Studios in partnership with acclaimed engineer Fiona Cruickshank.

The instrument is built around a flexible four-layer engine that lets users stack violins, violas, cellos, and synths sections into kaleidoscopic textures. Explore the beauty of raw organic sounds or blend them with evolving synth beds and granular textures for unique hybrid timbres. Unique articulations like cluster blooms, harmonic flickers and percussive pizzicatos add an avant-garde flair.

“LCO Producer Strings makes the unique and striking sound of the London Contemporary Orchestra available to everyone. The world-class musicians, studio, engineer, sampling techniques, and intuitive instrument engine combine to give producers and songwriters the freedom to craft strings that are as bold and unconventional as their ideas”, Tim Adnitt, VP, Product Management, Native Instruments.

“For us, it’s about reimagining what an orchestra can be. This collaboration lets us capture the raw, experimental spirit of the LCO and place it directly in the hands of artists and producers - opening new possibilities for how expressive strings can be shaped and integrated into modern music production.” Hugh Tieppo-Brunt, co-Artistic Director & co-Principal Conductor, London Contemporary Orchestra.

"My notes unedited:
----Probably cant change----
Lfo mode / pitch decouple on osc 2 would be goated
Mod wheel as a mod source(expression source with nothing in the jack?)
Pitch wheel as a mod source
Lfo 2 as an signable mod source
Gate prob should work on the arp page as well
Maybe note prob as well, but thats mostly covered by arp modes
Ratchets would've been a huge buff to the sequencer

----Probably could change----
F env mod to osc wave is almost a useless range
Velocity curves could use a tweak, maybe that's preference
Any modulation to pitch, (i feel) needs a more generous taper for low amounts
Noise can get way too loud.. Am I crazy?
Pressing 1-16 in note prob should do something clear that note? Deactivate it?"
