Berlin, September 2nd, 2010 – Native Instruments has just released five products that further extend its versatile KOMPLETE Instruments and Effects range. The new products include the modal synthesizer REAKTOR PRISM, the studio reverb REFLEKTOR, the organ emulation VINTAGE ORGANS, the effect suite TRAKTOR'S 12 and the amp emulation RAMMFIRE. All products are based on the powerful technology of KONTAKT, REAKTOR and GUITAR RIG, and can be used both within the full versions and the free player versions of these instruments.
The unique REAKTOR PRISM synthesizer was designed by NI synthesis mastermind Stephan Schmitt, and utilizes the new modal synthesis capabilities of the latest REAKTOR 5.5 generation. It generates highly expressive tones and textures that range from powerful basses and leads to deep, organic soundscapes and intricate physical-modelling sounds.
REFLEKTOR is a high-performance reverb processor for use within GUITAR RIG 4 and the new GUITAR RIG 4 PLAYER. Based on Native Instruments' patent-pending Zero Latency Convolution, it combines the quality of impulse response technology with the efficiency and flexibility of algorithmic reverbs to generate both extremely realistic room ambiences and creative, highly original reverberation effects.
The new VINTAGE ORGANS instrument provides the charismatic electromagnetic organ sound of the 60s and 70s. Based on meticulous sampling in combination with the advanced KONTAKT engine, it recreates three iconic tonewheel organs and two distinctive transistor-based models complete with their authentic sound shaping and effect facilities.
The performance effects suite TRAKTOR'S 12 is derived from Native Instruments' leading DJ software, and makes the acclaimed effects arsenal of TRAKTOR PRO available for use as a plug-in in any DAW or music sequencer. All twelve effects, including unique algorithms like the "Mulholland Drive", "Reverse Grain" and "Beat Masher", are optimized for intuitive and expressive real-time sound manipulation.
The new RAMMFIRE amp emulation was developed in close collaboration with one of Rammstein's guitarists, Richard Z. Kruspe, and models the original recording chain that is behind the band's trademark guitar sound. Berlin, January 24, 2019 – Following its biggest ever release in September 2018, Native Instruments today announces four new easy-to-use, affordable, and powerful products. Included are two new KOMPLETE audio interfaces, the most portable KOMPLETE KONTROL keyboard to date, a new free tier of the KOMPLETE production suite, and a new generation of the TRAKTOR DJ app. These new products are accompanied by a refresh of Sounds.com, the expansion of Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) to include loops and samples, and tighter integration of Sounds.com with updated MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL software – further integrating NI’s connected ecosystem of creative tools into one seamless workflow.

New starting points for producers and DJs
For producers, the release includes new hardware and software in the KOMPLETE range. A new 32-key portable keyboard, KOMPLETE KONTROL M32, is designed to provide the same hands-on workflow and comprehensive Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) integration as the S-Series and A-Series controllers, but with a smaller footprint and a lower price point. DIRTY KNOCK was created by DJ Godfather – the Detroit DJ, producer, label owner, and founding father of ghetto tech/Detroit bass. The genre combines elements of techno, house, Miami bass and turntablism, and has in turn influenced juke and trap music. Four projects and five kits deliver an array of rough basslines, analog sound effects, dirty drums, high synth stabs, rumbling 808s, and tight snares true to DJ Godfather’s signature sound. The additional melodic kit comprises one shot beeps and sweeps for giving tracks an added nuanced flair.

MOLEKULAR's modular design allows for an unprecedented level of routing freedom and its Morphing Field provides inspiring performance possibilities for producers. MOLEKULAR features slots for up to four effect modules and near-limitless routing options for unique effect arrangements. Modules include a pitch and resonator section for transforming percussive sounds into melodic arpeggios. Delay, stutter, and glitch modules allow users to create new rhythmic structures or turn any incoming signal into washed-out soundscapes. Eight modulation effects offer incredible sonic versatility for augmenting tone – from classic modulation effects like flanger and chorus to yet-unheard effects such as a purposefully broken pitch shifter to create unusual new textures. Six dynamic and distortion effects include a 16-stage wave folder and a DSP that tracks a signal's pitch to control a variable waveform oscillator. MOLEKULAR features 16 modulation sources, which can be routed to any parameter within the effects system. Frequency-based parameters can be quantized to custom scales and it's even possible to route one modulator into another producing unusual, constantly evolving modulation structures.
By using the Morphing Field, it is possible to drastically twist the results via the interactive display. Producers can assign a starting point, define four master mutations and easily morph between them in real time – a new and near-limitless approach to performing with effects. The morpher can also be controlled by any of the modulation sources. Though highly advanced technology works under the hood, MOLEKULAR is straightforward to use, and also comes with a multitude of presets of highly inventive effects ready to use as creative starting points.

A first-of-its-kind Light Guide™ shows key switches, zones, and more on multi-color LEDs positioned just above the keys. For example, key switches for KONTAKT Instruments such as ACTION STRIKES are illuminated in one color, while keys used for performance are lit with another. This puts the instrument’s layout on the keyboard at a glance without having to look at the software. The lights also provide performance feedback – scales, chords, and arpeggios light up across the keyboard as they are played.
KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboards also deliver Smart Play™ features to accelerate workflow and stimulate new ideas. Chord mode lets producers play complex chords with single keys. Chord Set mode provides ready-to-play progressions that can inspire and augment original compositions or add new flavor to remixes. The integrated scale mapping features deliver fast access to new melodic possibilities – notes of the currently selected scale light up on the Light Guide. Many widely-used musical scales can also be mapped to the white keys. ‘Wrong’ notes can be automatically re-mapped so melodies are always in tune. The arpeggiator works seamlessly with every KOMPLETE Instrument. And the eight controller knobs manage parameters such as direction, rate, rhythm, patterns, and variations.
Furthermore, two touch-sensitive Touch Kontrols™ tap into a new paradigm in software instrument control. They can mimic the behavior of pitch and mod wheels, and physical objects like springs and bouncing balls for interesting modulation curves – far beyond the capabilities of conventional mod wheels. Keyboard functionality such as key splits and Touch Kontrol behavior also function when using the keyboards as a standard MIDI controller, opening these control innovations to instruments outside the KOMPLETE universe.
