"Our first ambient jam with the @ASM Ashun Sound Machines Hydrasynth Explorer! Strictly used presets from the 'ambient' and 'arp' categories and tweaked from there. Everything was tracked to Ableton one at a time. Meems improvised vocals at the end. We've been posting a fair bit of ambient tracks recently, but we have a synthwave album in the works! "Really enjoying the @Korg Modwave so far. This is our first jam with the synth. Per usual, an ambient looped experience. Using the trusty @Singular Sound Aeros Loop Studio to first capture an arp patch, followed by textured wavetable sounds. The Aeros is chained to the @Hologram Electronics Microcosm which is blended towards the end of the jam for a beautiful transition. Meems recorded her improvisation the following day in one take."

"Today's video is a short improvised ambient set using the @NovationTV Summit keyboard. Everything was recorded into Ableton Live with no click. Additionally we added Luftrum field recordings into the mix afterwards for some extra ambience. The vocals and field recordings had some extra spatial effects added from Glitchmachines Fracture and Hysteresis plugins.

Also the vocal reverb is Valhalla Room with a bit of Valhalla Delay."

"The @Hologram Electronics Microcosm looping has been great for ambient music. Did this set basically improvised utilizing the Microcosm's looper. The @strymon Big Sky tied the sounds together post looper. The instrumental and Meems voice were multi tracked to Ableton Live for a mix a few weeks later. Both the @Korg Wavestate and @Sequential Take 5 were patched into a mixer that was patching the audio to the Microcosm. This allowed for capturing loops from both the Take 5 and Wavestate as desired.

Also, during the mix phase, we sent Meems vox back into the Microcosm for another layer of dreamy dimension into the mix. You hear it more on the second and third track as extra 'phantom voices'."

"Welcome back! We decided to do a bit of an experimental, scoring type of video with the Opsix this time around. Shoutout to Korg for allowing us to test drive the Opsix and make videos. We're not sponsored in any way, but we do have a review unit that we'll have to send back afterwards.

The approach for this video was to write a dreamy scifi cue. The Opsix did a great job sonically. Didn't end up writing new patches. Just tweaked stock patches for sonic inspiration.

Towards the end loaded up a Grand Piano patch from 8Dio (https://bit.ly/2LSlpNq​) and some string sections from Spitfire's BBCSO library.

Footage at the end was a hike we did in early Nov 2020 of Lake Tahoe Rubicon Trail."

"This jam we test out the DSI Pro 3 synth and an iPad Pro app Samplr for the first time in a gritty, more distorted jam. The Drumbrute Impact has separate outs routed to the Mackie board and having the inputs distorting in the red. Same with the Pro 3, the inputs are clipping the Mackie board."
