"Does anybody know anything about these people? I was told, maybe erroneously, that they used to be involved in the manufacture of synths but what synths and to what extent I don't know... I can't seem to find anything about them on t'internet... any suggestions?"

RARE Early 1972 Minimoog #1401

via this auction
"Serial number 1401, it is the 400th minimoog ever made. The condition is near perfect, and original... The oscillators are the ones from the early/mid seventies. Not the very early discrete ones, and not the later ones that many were "upgraded" to. This mini was made before the buffer board, which was a common upgrade/modification... The solid walnut cabinet is original, and was professionally refinished last year. This mini has the clear pitch and modulation wheels that only the first several hundred had. The face is metal, unlike the later ones, and the wording is in a smaller font."

Faults

YouTube via amphonic
"Auto-Generated music using 44-Space Synthesizers.com modular, Roland Juno-106, Dave Smith Prophet '08, Boss DR-55, AM Radio, and a lot of stomp boxes. Audio and video were recorded live @ the Furnace and put together in iMovie. Over 60 1/4" guitar cables were used to create the music. The modular is driven by a CGS Psycho LFO and a Q119 Sequencer. The Juno-106 and Prophet '08 are played by a few patch cables jammed between the keys. Check out the blog at www.modularsounds.com."
