That is not a render. It's a hardware controller for the OP-X, virtual Oberheim OB-X soft synth. The controller was made by Synth-Project.de who also brought us the OSCar and Pure-MCone controllers. Click here for more posts featuring the two including video. Click here for more pics of the OP-X hardware controller on Synth-Project.de.
"This is my first stab at posting a vid - here's my new Lil CHUD CVM synth masterminded by Travis Thatcher (Voice of Saturn wizard/aka recompas). I messed up and only captured the right audio channel. I'll git this vidjio thing down.
This custom modular consists of a MFOS VCO, Buchla Lopass Gate clone, 2 modified Voice of Saturn modulators & CEM-based VoS VCF. Banana plugs. Knobz. What else do you need? A keyboard (get outta here)!" via The Voice of Saturn blog.
"This is a demo of Electrify for the iPad controlled by an APC 40 from AKAI. Every function of Electrify (even the step parameters) can be controlled by the APC 40 making the APC 40 a real Groovebox with step sequencer and clip matrix! No need to touch the iPad's display It's just awesome to play around with it!
What do you need for that? a Midi Interface (iConnectMidi by iConnectivity when it's released eventually) for connecting your iPad and the APC 40. I use the MidiMobilizer, a USB-Midi Converter and Bome Midi Translator for testing.
This feature will be released in some weeks with an update for Electrify for free. And the best: it will work with your iPhone 4, too! www.electrifyme.net
(And sorry for the music, I made this pattern in 2 minutes!)"
"RS7000's Arpeggio sucks, normally. Right? Well try using a groove edit on it. Select some steps, extend the gate on some and turn the velocity down on some others, maybe even try some note offsets and clock shift."
