Novation //Find Your Sound - Journeys: Hip Hop Documentary
Novation // Find Your Sound - Journeys - Hip Hop Performance
Published on Dec 18, 2019 NovationTV
"Find Your Sound - Journeys are a series of short films documenting the process of creating original music using sounds we have found across the world with Launchpad.
For our third journey we headed out to LA for a few days, to meet with some local producers, hang out with street musicians and explore the city to collect some sounds that we could use to create some beats and build a hip hop track. For this journey, we used Launchpad X.

WAVEFFRONT-AUDIO 16+ CHANNEL ANALOG VOCODER Update
"Wavefront_Audio has now updated their 16+ CHANNEL ANALOG VOCODER plus additional SPECTRAL CHANNEL MANAGER.
Important feature is 'Silence Bridging': in some arrangements it may be useful to have the carrier sound through in vocal pauses.
Now you can now download the manual and find the explanation of the parts in the schematics on the website.

SoundsDivine 'Warped Vinyl' - FXpansion Strobe 2
Published on Dec 18, 2019 SoundsDivine111
"Preview of the presets from the 'Warped Vinyl' soundset for FXpansion Strobe 2
https://soundsdivine.com/product/stro..."
"‘Warped Vinyl’ contains 100 sounds for FXpansion Strobe 2
These patches are designed to sound old & worn out. This soundset tries to emulate the sound of classic analog polysynths like the Korg Polysix & Yamaha CS-70 through cheap 90s reverbs and old analog delays pedals and tape machines.
Making full use of Strobe 2’s Transmod system, these sounds are dynamic and expressive with extensive mod wheel and aftertouch assignments for each patch.
‘Warped Vinyl’ features a variety of different presets, including, BoC style synth sounds, CS-80 brass sounds, dusty old pads, noisy space echo fx, drifty tremolo pads, old organ sounds, distorted electric pianos and much more."
More OP-1 sound comparisons with an external keyboard
Published on Dec 18, 2019 Synth & Sundry
"A wide range of Teenage Engineering OP-1 synth sounds tested out using both the OP1 keys and the Arturia Keystep which is capable of velocity and aftertouch. While the OP-1 does not support aftertouch, it does respond to velocity. However, its own keyboard isn't capable of transmitting it to the sound engines. Check out what the differences are for a wide range of sounds.
This video is a follow up to an earlier test where I showed how to set up an external keyboard with the OP-1over USB through a laptop running Ableton Live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzpZ4... Check that out if you need a refresher.
These are the OP-1 synthesizer engines covered in this video. Click on the time stamp to jump to the right spot:

"4 in the mornin" Dawless electronic jam: Novation Peak, AS Nyborg-24, Jomox Alpha Base, Roland JX8P
Published on Apr 22, 2019 Charles Whiley
"Whatcha got here is the AS Nyborg-12 on bass with nifty CV to filter cutoff commands in 'tiny' step fashion which creates nice accents run thru some Eventide Space reverb. Then you got the Roland JX8P on pad. Then ya got the Alpha Base on drums. Then you have the Novation Peak on lead. Subtle sidechain compression on the Nyborg via the KT Square One. Tell me what you think and share it if you like it!"
