" Just got the Sequential Prophet X a few days ago. Spent a couple of days just playing presets until my fingers hurt. This is my first attempt for a big beat drums and bass techno hardware jam combining it with the Elektron Octatrack. Modified a PX preset that has percussion and synth sounds spread across the keyboard, with eight LFOS available per voice and an extensive mod matrix, you can do a lot of sound mangling. Octatrack providing sequencing, bass sounds and scratchy weirdness. Kept it short as the possibilities are endless for either machine, both together hurts my brain. More to come."

Restoring a Moog Minimoog: Repainting the keyboard base and cutting new felt

"In this video I repaint the keyboard base. I did 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of black paint, and 3 coats of clear coat! I only showed two coats for brevity.

I used Rustoleum primer, Rustoleum Satin Enamel black paint, and Rustoleum Satin Enamel Clearcoat.

It comes out great, and I think it'll last another 50 years. I also cut out new felt pads to go into the keyboard base."

Loopy Pro AUv3 Effects

"Loopy Pro is great fun on its own but you can add AUv3 effects in several different ways. First is when you're recording (not shown in this video), second is adding an effect to an already existing loop, and third is by adding an effects bus and then sending other channels through it. Just a quick how-to to show how it's done."
