Supercritical Synthesizers Redshift 6 Gets a Firmware Update

press release follows:

Supercritical Synthesizers have just released the first firmware update for the Redshift 6 and it’s available at our website.

The Firmware Update 1.1 brings USB MIDI, new modulation destinations such as: Character, Detune, envelope Attack, Decay, Sustain & Release and also new presets from Kebu.

VERSION 1.1

Added
• USB MIDI
• New modulation destinations: Character, Detune, envelope Attack, Decay, Sustain & Release
• New presets by Kebu

Improved
• LFO Trigger parameter is now named Sync

Fixed
• Fix reversed visualizations of LFO Log vs. RevLog waveforms
• Dual Osc Noise level is now affected by DCO env in para mode, and by gain scaling related to character and drive,
as it should be. This may affect the noise level in some presets.
• MIDI notes now stop when:
- All Notes Off CC123 is received
- MIDI channel setting is changed
- MIDI Panic is pressed from front panel
• Repeatedly pressing MIDI Panic no longer crashes the synth
• On fast envelope decays, the envelope no longer gets stuck to its previous sustain value, when sustain level is changed
or modulated
• Fix potential loss of autosave or presets
• Minor visual fixes

The next Redshift 6 firmware update is already in beta testing and is expected to be released in March.

Supercritical’s Redshift 6
Supercritical’s Redshift 6 is a 6 voice polyphonic analog synthesizer that combines technology from Supercritical’s previous products, the Demon Core Oscillator and the Neutron Flux Filter.

Redshift 6 is a true Sonic powerhouse. With 16 oscillators per voice and a 4-pole analog multimode filter featuring drive and character controls, it effortlessly delivers everything from super saw stabs to lush pads and from unison basses to vintage poly synth sounds. The Redshift 6’s 4 envelopes and 4 LFOs combined with complex, but super easy-to-assign modulation possibilities and mod matrix offer endless possibilities for sound design.

Lel DidiDrum by Ultrarare.su

video upload by Futulyric

"Ultrarare presents another super rare device drum module - Lel MIDIDRUM. In MIDI format all knobs of the device do not work, volume commands are transmitted in the note mode. Thus, the only regulator is the volume knob in the lower right corner. The simplicity of the plugin is compensated by the uniqueness of the source. To date, no other working preserved copy is known. Also included in the delivery set will be 34 unique drum parts of Lel in midi format, the name of which is written on the device."

This appears to be the first one to be featured on the site.

"Let's think about what noise is.
The noise function does not have any absolute defining formula, but is defined as a function with characteristics that the distribution of output values must satisfy.
I used SEQUENTIAL Prophet-5 and iceGear Lorentz.

Moog Labyrinth 50 Modular Patches & Sequences + WAV Samples

video upload by Anton Anru

"'Circuit Maze' is a collection of 50 patches for the semi-modular synth Moog Labyrinth. Dedicated to the modular spirit, the bank of presets embraces the analog warmth, experimental mindset, and rich sonic possibilities provided by Moog Labyrinth—an instrument that challenges traditional sequencing, offering fresh ways to shape sound and inspire creativity.

🎛 While crafting this soundset, I wanted to fully explore Labyrinth's capabilities, dive deep into its unconventional workflow, and have fun with its distinctive sequencing approach, which is unavailable on other synths. The result is a collection of 50 patches designed to inject unique and evolving patterns into any track or performance.
Each preset—or fragments of it—can function as bass, percussion, melody/lead, pluck, or FX, making this collection highly versatile.

📦 Get these patches: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/laby...

💽 The presets explore a wide spectrum of tones, from warm, clean, soft, and deep to noisy, metallic, distorted, punchy, and bright. Some sounds are bold enough to take center stage, while others work best as supporting elements, adding texture and movement to your compositions.
You can use the patches as they are, but I strongly encourage real-time tweaking, allowing you to shape and evolve the timbres throughout your performance for a dynamic and immersive experience.

02.27.2025 Mos-Lab 2500 - To be continued

video upload by batchas

"The sound of the 2500 takes me into musical territory I've never explored before, plus the fact that I've rewired the whole studio with MIDI.
I took out the Juno 60 that was asleep for too long to add an arpeggio line on top of the 2500, but it did let me down after 10 minutes. I'll have to repair it :(
I replaced it with the Sixtrak, but I'll need more time to set the sound as I like. I might use the Matrix 1000 though. I'll see... Clocking the Juno arpeggio did a super sound that I was not able to get in this session on other synths. I'll have to spend more time and we'll see where it leads me.
Watching the video I realize I should use the Minimoog instead of the Sixtrak."
