"Castlevania 'Vampire Killer' (NES) performed on an Elektron Digitone II. A true-to-the-original version that then evolves into some kind of DN2 jam.

The first four tracks are 1:1 maps of the four NES channels, providing basic waveforms. For the jam, the remaining tracks are used.

The Castlevania OST for the Nintendo Education System (NES) was composed in 1986 by Kinuyo Yamashita."

"A piece created using field recordings of Tokyo's morning city, ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, and norns shield. Birdsong, city sounds, and thick electronic tones overlap.

The Prophet-10 was played with ‪@strymon‬ blueSky reverb and recorded.

On the Norns Shield, I trigger a drone with DRONECASTER ( https://llllllll.co/t/dronecaster/34737 ) and process it with filtering and packet loss effects using ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOSSY.

The field recordings were captured with the Voice Memo app on an iPhone."

Playing Ableton Push 3 as a synthesizer

"The headline feature of Ableton Push 3 is those expressive MPE pads. MPE stands for MIDI Polyphonic Expression and means you can really play the pads as if it's an instrument, along with pitch glide, polyphonic aftertouch and other features. In this jam, we're playing the pads as part of the live performance, though pitch glide was replaced with polyphonic aftertouch instead.

Technically, the Push 3 was running in controller mode when we recorded the jam. The jam could easily have been done in standalone though, it was more of a convenience decision so we could see on the computer screen that things recorded properly.

We've had the Push 3 Standalone for a little over a year now and will be publishing a review that compares it against the other production-focused groovebox champion, the MPC Live 2.

"Some awful dry doom to test the Metasonix RK10 power in a new location, closer to the RK7, S-2000, S-1000, D-2000, and Zerosum Inertia 6550-99 modules. The RK10 is sequencing the left RK7, whose audio output is multiplied and sent to the right RK7 CV in and to the RK2 VCA. The right RK7 audio output goes to the RK5 lopass gate (left channel). The RK10 gate out is multiplied and sent to both sides of the MFB dual ADSR. The MFB dual LFO is controlling the drive input CV on the right RK7."
