06.17.2025 Man Machine for fun
video upload by batchas
"Music as therapy...
As usual I'm recording directly to one stereo track and I noticed while watching the video that the Minimoog is too loud (still I love its sound!) and the 808 bass drum a bit too low, but as I currently want to spend as less time as possible on the same project, I won't record another take and I'll move on to something different.
Sounds: Mos-Lab 2500, muSonics Minimoog, Roland Juno 60, Waldorf Q, Waldorf Pulse +, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Roland TR-808, Ace Tone Rhythm Ace.
Effect: Eventide H9, Hologram Microcosm, Audiothingies Doctor A."

Oberheim TEO-5 - Generative Modulations
video upload by Scott McAuley Sounds
"Patches will be available at https://www.orano.co.uk/shop or http://www.synthsounds.co.uk
*No External effects used in this demo, everything you hear is one patch on hold from TEO-5*
Patch 'SM Sync Notes' - will be included in Labyrinth Vol.2
This patch is utilising every mod slot available to users in this remarkable synth. Quantised pitch mod on one oscillator, makes for some very textured and interesting sounds. This Patch runs on its own, no sequencer, no arp, just modulations causing the quantised pitch to dance. Great for generative type sounds and atmospheres.
Enjoy.

6/16/25 Roland (RYK, E-licktronic) System 100m + Peavey 1300 + DeltaLab Effectron II + MIDIVERB II
video upload by Cfpp0
"Haven’t been using the E-licktronic 118a 808 bass drum and snare drum clone lately, so this was a chopping-block patch. We’re going to keep the 118a module in the end, as it’s still the closest thing to a Roland TR-808 around here. This System 100m patch is based around two RYK Modular 185 sequencers. The right 185 is clocked by the left 185’s gate output. The 118a snare is being triggered by that same gate pattern and the snare audio output is running through the DeltaLab Effectron II delay, feedback maxed, panned left. Both 110 VCOs are controlled by two RYK 185 sequencers, and both VCOs pass through the right 110 VCF into the right 110 VCA into the Peavey 1300 delay with plenty of feedback, panned center. The 150 and 140 LFOs are on the 110 filters and modulating the 118a accent in and decay CV. Some reverb (preset 23) from the Alesis MIDIVERB II."

1010MUSIC BENTO BETA. THINGS ARE HEATING UP #ABLETONKILLER #1010music
video upload by jtn.project
"Things are getting interesting! 1010Music released Ver 1.0.27Beta, and boy does it rip!
From their forum:
'We are pleased to make available a beta of bento available to you. It includes several new features:
Scenes. You can now group launch a sequence or loop on each track. Use the pads on the SONG screen to launch them
Song Mode. Prepare up to 8 scenes, play them sequentially, and repeat them as you go
External Tracks. Hook up an external synth or drum machine and use the bento to sequence and mix the audio. You can even apply effects to the audio input. (We combined the idea of an Audio and MIDI track into a single track type.)
Copy and Paste. Easily duplicate sequences and scenes
More sequences. Each track can now have up to 8 sequences
Pad based launching. On the LAUNCH screen you can now use the pads to switch between sequences and loops
Improved Pad Performance. New approach is more resistant to double hits
Battery Charging Indicator. Get visual feedback on whether or not the unit is plugged in and charging.
Swing Amount. Make your groove really sing'
I am so excited to see what I can come up with now. Bento keeps on surprising me.

How a patching matrix can unlock your modular synth | Archaea Exchange
video upload by Tom Churchill
"This video is all about things you can do with switches and dynamic signal routing in a modular synth. To explore these concepts I’ll be using a patching matrix called Exchange, from the Bristol-based Eurorack brand Archaea, who are kindly sponsoring this video.
Whether it’s routing sequences to different voices on the fly or instantly changing where modulation is being sent, manipulating your signal paths can add a whole new dimension to your patching."

Improvised Jam on Iconic Vintage Synths!
video upload by Anthony Marinelli Music
"Fresh off Superbooth 2025, I dropped into the Synthesizer Museum in Berlin for a rare, fully improvised performance on their legendary vintage synths—including the Yamaha CS-80, two ARP 2600s, and a Roland Jupiter-8.
Joining me was my longtime friend and Vienna-based artist Felix of Flame, playing his custom FLAME drum and percussion instruments. Together, we dove into a one-of-a-kind sonic journey—shaped by texture, tone, and the moment.
No script. No presets. Just raw, analog expression—captured live!"
Supercritical Synthesizers Releases Redshift 6 Update 1.3 Featuring 6-Part Multitimbrality

Press release follows:
"Supercritical Synthesizers has just released a new firmware update for the Redshift 6 and it’s available on their website. Firmware Update 1.3 introduces 6-part multitimbrality and multitimbral presets.
With Redshift 6, multitimbrality is always at your fingertips. Its user interface is built from the ground up to enable a seamless workflow between mono- and multitimbral setups. Under the hood, Redshift 6 is always multitimbral — there’s no need to switch to a specific multitimbral mode. A new multitimbral synth part can be activated with just the push of a button. Each part can be polyphonic, paraphonic, or monophonic, and each can have its own unique character.
With each of the Redshift 6’s six voices capable of generating up to 16 oscillators for a total of 96, the Redshift 6 offers an impressive expansion in overall polyphony. A single voice supports up to five paraphonic notes simultaneously, each featuring dual oscillators and a noise source. These notes can have independent amplitude shaping, thanks to the Redshift 6’s dedicated DCO ENV envelope generators.

Redshift 6 is a true Sonic powerhouse. With 16 analog oscillators per voice and a 4-pole analog multimode filter featuring drive and character controls, it effortlessly delivers everything from super saw stabs to lush pads and from unison basses to vintage poly synth sounds. The Redshift 6’s 4 envelopes and 4 LFOs, combined with complex yet easy-to-assign modulation possibilities and the 32-slot mod matrix, offer endless possibilities for sound design.
Each of the Redshift 6’s six voices features a Demon Core Oscillator, capable of generating up to 16 simultaneous analog oscillators per voice. These oscillators can be assigned in various ways, from lush polyphonic textures to a massive 96-oscillator unison."
