"A piece created with the @SequentialLLC Prophet-10, modular synth, and tape loops—ambient music where glitchy modular rhythms drift beneath slow-moving harmonies.
Prophet-10: Improvised live with @strymon blueSky reverb.
Modular synth: A Plaits voice is sequenced by a monome Grid and WHITE WHALE, bit-reduced through a Roland BITRAZER, then further processed with @ChaseBlissAudio LOSSY and the MOOD MK II. In Ableton Live, two layers of Beat Repeat add additional glitches.
Tape loop: A pre-recorded piano loop is played back at half speed. Its output feeds the @HologramElectronics MICROCOSM, where reverb and looping create layered textures."

A cinematic ambient track evoking the grandeur of a distant galactic empire, EXPR//Residue begins with a solemn tuba drone and unfolds into a slowly shifting sonic landscape.
The tuba forms the foundation of the piece—its rich tone is enhanced with a harmonic waveform to add depth, and sent through GRAIN FX to transform a simple two-note bassline into a dense, evolving low-frequency texture.
Oboe chords provide a gentle, pad-like atmosphere, blending naturally into reverb to create soft, immersive motion.
Scattered throughout the track, piano accents are pulled and stretched using the BACKTIDE function, adding expressive drag and emotional tension.
One track is dedicated to filtered noise, modulated by an LFO on the low-pass filter cutoff. This creates a storm-like undercurrent that blends beautifully with the reverb, expanding the spatial field of the mix.
This piece explores the remnants of something vast and ancient—a residue of sound and structure left drifting in space.

once you’ve made your own sequencer patterns, you can start chaining them together. instead of looping just one pattern, this update lets you combine up to four, giving your tracks more variation.

the TX–6 now includes a slide (portamento) function, allowing precise control over pitch transitions when sequencing waveforms for more refined melodic expression.

There is no vintage button on this one! I got this from a gentleman who had it serviced by Wine Country before they went out of business. When I got it, there were still some problems so it has just been serviced again and it's solid now. This is marked as a domestic sale only, but I will ship out of the country. You can send me a message if you're considering to buy it and I will calculate the shipping cost then. Shipping overseas will not be cheap. Please keep this in mind."
