The Haunted Arcade of the DecadeBridge Triad (Drones, Noises, Glitches and Rhythms)

"The DecadeBridge Triad is a unique little Synth module that generates drones, rhythms, noises and glitches - it sounds, to me at least, like a haunted arcade in the 80s - malfunctioning machines, wailing, whirring and bleeping. It's based on a trio of analog oscillators arranged in a fairly unique, raw and unpredictable arrangement. It works great as part of a drone or noise setup, makes for excellent sample fodder, and thanks to the neat "reset" input it can play along with drum machines and sequencers (especially paired with a little low-pass gate).

TRIAD is a 3 oscillator square wave drone/noise/glitch synth.

The 3 oscillators drive and reset each other in different ways depending upon the switch/button settings. an external trigger, gate or clock can also be used to reset 2 of the 3 oscillators.

Knob style and knob/button colour may vary depending on stock.
A connector for a 9 volt battery is included with Triad. Triad can also run off a 9V !!CENTRE POSITIVE!! WALL ADAPTOR.

"It was my Dad's birthday today. He didn't make it to this birthday, or the last 14 birthday's either. Time just goes on and takes everything away from us. But I wanted to write something on his Birthday. I miss him. I miss my mom too. I miss them both.

Meanwhile, I'm just barely hanging on. My wife still hasn't found a job and I sometimes think she won't get one before I lose mine due to all the awesome stuff going on in the federal government. We've been worried about what will happen when we're both without jobs. I couldn't get a job if I tried (and I have). I guess no one wants someone who has a really niche background. It's just not a great place to be.

Life goes on anyway.

"It started out as a bit of a challenge but in the end turned out better than I hoped.

Everything you hear was programmed on the Tracks synth (and if required, sampled into the Rhythm). Only the drums and vocals are samples from elsewhere and the whole thing is played back on the two machines and recorded (without any extra synths or effects)."

"🎹 Listen to the 8-voice Vermona Perfourmer! This time a simple improvisation, not a proper track.

👉 In this video I present an improvisation using two Vermona Performers chained together. Instead of two four-voice synths, I've got a single, eight-voice, polyphonic analogue beast.

👉 Both synthesizers are connected via a ‪@Bome‬ Box – this small device can distribute MIDI messages sent via a single channel to any number of MIDI channels. In this case, the Bome Box distributes each received note to eight additional MIDI channels, which I send to both synthesizers via a Midi Splitter (Banana Split in this case).

👉 All I need is a very simple motif based on a single pattern in Deluge. By playing with individual oscillators, I can introduce additional variations to that motif. Then, all that's left is to play with the effect—in this case, ‪@audiothingies‬ Doctor A."

Captured one evening in Nice with a Canon EOS 5D, the image glows with color and movement. Its title plays on both the city’s name and the beats of light — vibrant, electrifying, alive.
