"Due to the unavailability of parts, especially those related the now-discontinued Zilog Z80 CPU, Rossum does not anticipate being able to produce any more SP-1200 reissue units after the 40th Anniversary Edition."

"Hi All! I am very excited to share the 2nd round of sounds I have created for you and I hope you are considering support my work.
While they are primarily designed for ambient electronic music, with a few tweaks, they can be adapted for any genre you wish to explore. If you're using a sequencer, you may need to adjust the ADSR parameters to suit your specific needs. Enjoy creating with these versatile patches!
Dr. Bohm home organ, rhythm, fun machine. Overview at 3:53.
"In this vid, Charlie explains how he went about modding this very cool and rare Dr. Bohm drum machine. For a more in-depth video on how to mod your own drum machine, please subscribe to our Patreon!"
"One year after the release of “Daydreaming ~ 楽想”, I’m excited to share this little electronic lullaby, in the same style. I hope it will help you find sleep in these difficult times ✨🌙
The track is also available on all streaming platforms."
"Hey everybody, it is August 2025 and the weather here in Vienna is far too nice for gear. However, you wouldn’t be watching videos of me chilling at the local beer garden so I combined a few electronic musical instruments to three different setups for every budget and took them to some of my favorite places around here where there is no power outlet in sight.
The rules are simple: no iPads, no laptops and - most importantly - the setups need to be operable independent from the power grid. Diesel generators and solar cells aside, there are basically three ways to do that and I dedicated a setup to each of these methods.

"A one take performance, pairing the Seventh Summoner with the Arp Of Darkness showing how the two used together can turn a small rig into a full featured performance case.
Patch Notes: All clicking duties are handled by Pam’s Pro Workout.
Voice 1 is sequenced by the Seventh Summoner and consists of the vowel patch on Braids through the Ensembles patch on the MFX and then into the retro patch on a Noise Engineering Desmodus Versio with the “MultiVersio” firmware flashed to it. The vowel patch is being modulated by Ebb & LFO patch on the Ornament & Crime running the Phaserville Suite
Voice 2 is a saw wave oscillator from the Disting MK4 processed through a Pittsburgh Modular low pass filter, and being sequenced by Sequence X on an Ornament & Crime module with the Phaserville Suite firmware running.
Voice 3 is being arpeggiated by the Arp Of Darkness, and is made up of a swarm & harm patch on the Neutron Sound Dust of Time running through a ping pong delay on another Disting MK4 by Expert Sleepers.
In-Case Drums are being handled by an Erica Synths Pico Drums module running through A low pass filter on another Disting MK4 and into Data Bender by Qu-Bit for glitching duties.
All outputs run through a Kombucha by WGD for delay send duties and then into a Befaco STMIX for mix down to an Intellijel Headphones output in the 1U row.
Additional drums provided by the K.O. II by Teenage Engineering running my own personal samples."
"Check out this short video sent to us by Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll, in which he puts the 3rd Wave’s new sample modulation capabilities to the test. Learn more about the 3rd Wave at https://www.groovesynthesis.com
Paul Hartnoll, one half of the legendary electronic duo Orbital, has been pushing the boundaries of electronic music since their breakthrough 1989 hit "Chime" helped define the UK rave scene. Known for their innovative live performances and genre-defining albums like "In Sides" and "Snivilisation," Orbital's influence on electronic music spans over three decades, making Paul's exploration of the 3rd Wave's capabilities particularly compelling.
In the video, Paul makes great use of sample start modulation, a feature added in OS 1.9a of the 3rd Wave 24K synth, allowing velocity and other sources to dynamically shift sample start points for expressive performance control. He created a sequence of 48th notes in Ableton Live, using its note split mode, and gently randomized the notes’ velocity. He then modulates the sample start in the 3rd Wave oscillator with the note velocity to create, in effect, a granular sampler. You can then also use velocity (or any other parameter) to control the filter cutoff and spread the samples out into the stereo field with the pan spread control.
The 3rd Wave 24K is a 24-voice, 4-part multi-timbral wavetable synth with 3 oscillators per voice, analog low-pass filters, a state-variable filter, 6-stage wave envelopes per oscillator, and an industry-first Wavemaker™ tool that allows users to create custom wavetables in a single step through its proprietary sample-to-wave technology. Each of its three oscillators can generate a classic PPG-era wavetable, a modern high-resolution wavetable, virtual-analog synthesis, linear FM, and sampling.
While the 3rd Wave has roots in the classic digital wavetable synths of the past, it takes the concept firmly into the 21st century with a lush, expansive sound and innovative features that synths of the 80ies could only dream of.
