ACIDLAB - M303 (with Autobot & Miami) - Eurorack
video upload by
Published on Dec 31, 2012 xtront·29 videos
"This Demo was made to show you all (?) possibilities of ACIDLAB synth voice "M303".
-have fun and keep on beeping! :D
If you wonder why "VCF-Mod" produce results when no cable is pluged in, it's a genius combination of the VCO and the envelope behind it. ;)
-M303 is working on Autobot's Systembus, even ACCENT will be transmitted. The module is working with Doefer's systembus, too.
Used Stuff: Acidlab M303, Autobot & Miami. External control by Doepfer A-119 (to feed MIAMI into M303's Filter Input), A-143-3 Quad LFO (for Modulation), Blue Lantern 6HP Joystick (another mod-source) & Intellijel Triatt (to invert CVs). System is powered by Acidlab's POW and housed in a Acidlab 6U Rack."

"Plan B Model 32 Vector Plotter Joystick, CV Processor, Manual Gate, Kinetic Gate, CV/Audio Mixer... The module is used and in very nice condition minus the manual gate button shaft is broken but it does work fine and its all there. My system is tilted back so it never falls out and triggers just fine, could be easily replaced it the purchaser so desires. Theres also a wee little bit of rash under the screws and it works just fine! Comes with a Doepfer style power connector and YES it does have the joystick tip, I removed it since plugs interfere with the placement of the stick to open up some room.
This is an AS-IS sale due to the nature of exposed circuitry and I trust whoever will purchases this module will not plug it in backwards!..."

6U BLUE LANTERN MODULAR SYSTEM
Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction
That's one colorful system. It does not appear to include the controversial ZTVCO.
via the listing: "The case was Pro made by a Plastics Manufacturer. I installed (2) Pairs of Black Tip Top Z rails myself. I designed the Linear Power Supply myself. It is more then enough power for a 6U system. The beefy heat sinks don't get hot at all. There is a 2.1mm Jack where you can plug in a 5v Slim wall adapter if you needed to supply the 5v rail on the Doepfer Power scheme. The modules that I design don't use the 5v rail so I don't include the 5V wall adapter. You can buy one on ebay for about $10.00 (Center tip Positive). You only need the 5v Wall adapter if you ever buy Modules that require use of the 5v Rail.
SO THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE COMPLETED 100% WORKING MODULAR SYNTH AND THE DETACHABLE POWER CORD.
The buss boards follow the Euro Format standard and are compatible with all the Euro Manufactures out there.
SPECS OF THE LINEAR POWER SUPPLY
*TRANSFORMER-3AMPS WITH FUSE (110v AC USA)

The A.C.E. Controller from Synth-Project
via SynthProject.de
"The A.C.E. Controller has 2 Doepfer Midi Interfaces inside. A 3 octave keyboard with velocity and Channel Aftertouch.
About 90 knobs, 8 Sliders, 6 switches and Joystick to control the most important parameters of the Instrument.
For the moment, the patch sockets, have no function, because there is no midi learn function for these sockets. I placed them for the final look and maybe for later use.
I hope Mr.Heckmann find a way for the midi learn function of the patch sockets.
The black knobs are for the parameters of the main screen. The gray buttons at the buttom of the Front Panel are for the Tweak Page."

Roland 100m 184 Keyboard
via this auction
"This is the largest and most specified of the 100M keyboards. Although there are the same number of keys as the 181, i.e. 49 keys 4-octaves, the action is definitely an improvement on the other models. It has all the features of the 181 keyboard except for the 6 pin DIN socket. Power is via a captive mains lead, & not from the rack. It does have a number of useful additions over the 181. There is an arpeggiator with a rate control and hold, and four push buttons for selecting Up, Down, Up&Down, or Random modes. Plus an arpeggiator clock input on the rear for connecting to a drum machine or sequencer trigger output. There are 4 assign mode buttons for selecting two Unison (monophonic) modes and two Poly (4 voice) modes of playing. Next to these buttons is a hold (sustain) switch. The bender also has a pitch bend sensitivity knob. The Pitch Bend lever affects the notes played, and also has a dedicated CV output. The return to zero spring-loaded lever is very accurate and I find it much easier to use than the Doepfer Joystick, for example. The transpose switch only has two positions on this model, normal and 1 octave down. There is a knob for portamento which can be switched in or out. Along the rear of the keyboard are 4 CV and 5 Gate outputs. The fifth gate socket is a combined output of gates 1-4. and all the outputs are duplicated on mini and standard jack sockets which can be used simultaneously."

A VCS3 hardware emulation would not be complete without a patch matrix, a joystick and a spring reverb. So, once again, I did a design for a panel with Front panel designer and had it made by Schaeffer AG . The panel is designed to hold a 20x20 matrix by Ghielmetti, a 10x10 matrix as patch pin holder, two Doepfer A-174-1 joysticks, a Doepfer A-199 spring reverb, 20 input jacks to the matrix and 20 output jacks from the matrix."

Kinetic Gates without a Model 32
Kinetic Gates without a Model 32 from Pete Shambler on Vimeo.
"Trying to recreate the "Kinetic Gate" outputs of the Plan B Model 32 joystick using a Flight of Harmony Choices and Doepfer A-156 Dual Quantizer.
Patch:
X and Y voltage outputs from Choices are mixed together and sent to the CV in on the A-156. Trigger out from the quantizer to an envelope channel on Maths, Maths CV out to VCA CV in.
Quantizer CV out to 1v/oct input on VCO (in this case an e350 Morphing Terrarium).
(copies of the X and Y outputs are sent to the X and Y morph inputs on the e350)
That's it! Changing the quantizer settings changes the voltage output obviously, but also the amount of new voltages being created, which in turn affects the number of triggers it will be spitting out.

electrotablajam 2
"My electronic tabla (it says "proffessional") controls my home built 32 step sequencer, of which 20 positions are used for this rhythm. The Sool rhythm has 10 beats per cycle.
The sequencer not only plays these voltages up or down, but it can also derive other patterns. I worked these out and implemented these in hardware. I would have to look up how I did this. I do not think of it anymore, as each of the patters is useful. So in a live situation, I just choose a different one at random.
The output of the sequencer is analog, and sends out 0-10 volt. This is then converted to midi by my new miduino, a circuit by Tom Scarff. The software was partley rewritten by me. to make it play in the key of my choice. Using a very secrative math trick called rounding, I made the sequencer play in a minor key, rather than in the 12 tone system. This allows for live tweaking of the knobs without ever being out of key. Freedom!
Then there's my Arcade joystick, which has an home baked circuit that converts the 4 switches and the fire button to 15 different notes, and connects right onto the keyboard matrix of an old casio childrens keyboard which cooks midi note messages. I would do this in the miduino too if I needed to do it again. A series of if/else statements is much easier and more flexible than soldering and debugging a circuit with 8 logic IC's and a over a meter of wire.
Then there's the large joystick. It has a doepfer midiconvertor on board. The miduino has enough pins to do it all together, but I like the fact that it is a funtional unit on it's own. It controls all the effects of the Arcade channel.
The pitch of the tabla can be controlled by the sequencer as well as by the Atari paddle. I made this input on the tabla when I replaced the tuning pot with a precise ten-turn pot. It works with two vactrols.
Sound sources are: cymbals, a Raagini shruti box, the tabla box, a Waldorf Blofeld running 2 patches amplified by a 40 year old Italian tube amp.
I recorded it with my photocamera, which has a rediculously low audio sampling rate. They all have. It's just not a number the camera's are sold by. I should have checked weather I was in the image myself. Now I am a pair of hands on youtube too, looking like the Lorax of Dr. Seuss. A well. It's just a test drive to check if my work is getting somewhere."
