ACIDLAB - M303 (with Autobot & Miami) - Eurorack

video upload by

Published on Dec 31, 2012 xtront·29 videos

"This Demo was made to show you all (?) possibilities of ACIDLAB synth voice "M303".
-have fun and keep on beeping! :D

If you wonder why "VCF-Mod" produce results when no cable is pluged in, it's a genius combination of the VCO and the envelope behind it. ;)
-M303 is working on Autobot's Systembus, even ACCENT will be transmitted. The module is working with Doefer's systembus, too.

Used Stuff: Acidlab M303, Autobot & Miami. External control by Doepfer A-119 (to feed MIAMI into M303's Filter Input), A-143-3 Quad LFO (for Modulation), Blue Lantern 6HP Joystick (another mod-source) & Intellijel Triatt (to invert CVs). System is powered by Acidlab's POW and housed in a Acidlab 6U Rack."

"Here is a live performance of the MMM demo number four featuring the stack of MMMs behind, the Syntar (the father of the MMM) and the new AcidLab MIAMI in MIDI mode. The bass line, arpeggio and drums were sequenced in Logic. The Skulls were triggered via Logic (the percussion tracks) using Division-6's MIDIFY."

COWBOY (RIP) AND THE ROLAND VOCODER LIVE AT PNW SYNTH DIY 2009 FEATURING THE SYNTAR, MIAMI AND MMM

"This is dedicated to that old dog COWBOY who used to listen to his master's vocoder. The bass and some melody are handled by the MMMs behind. The Syntar is the carrier wave for the Roland SVC-350 vocoder. The Syntar also plays a sort of melody. The MIAMI is sequenced in MIDI mode from Logic. At the Pacific Northwest Synth DIY 2009"

What a Polyphonic Arp 2600/Macbeth M5/Minimoog would sound like

YouTube Uploaded by ricel1992 on Jan 2, 2012

"Hooked up my mono synths with my Encore Expressionist and recorded a little video to show of the sound. I had the Acidlab Miami triggering the ARP Sequencer which was sequencing the filter cutoff (making that rhythmic sound in the background). The glidey/squelchy bass is the minimoog model D and the 4 voice poly is made up of the 2 ARP 2600's and 2 voices from the Macbeth M5 - osc 1 and 3 through filter 1 and oscillator 2 through filter 2. It makes for a rather unsurprisingly fat sound and the expressionist makes it really easy to set everything up (I just need some more long 1/4 cables)! The Acidlab Miami was the drum accompaniment. Anyways, hopefully I can record more soon."

KORG MS-20mini filters Acidlab MIAMI

Published on Mar 23, 2013 AudioCentralMagazine·121 videos

"ESP Section of KORG MS-20mini is filtering Acidlab MIAMI drum machine; its sound goes into MS-20 filter, and feeds triggers for egs and cvs for oscillators. As unpitched signal, the cv extracted is very nasty and unpredictable... and fun."

Deconstructing beats with the KOMA Elektronik pedals

Published on Oct 22, 2014 KOMA Elektronik

"In this video the Master output of the Acidlab MIAMI is being processed by the KOMA Elektronik BD101 Gate/Delay and FT201 Filter/Sequencer effect pedals creating a dub techno drum sequence.

The Acidlab Miami is synced to the KOMA pedals via the RH301's Din Sync Output. The RH301 is the masterclock of this setup.

The signal runs into the BD101 with the Delay Time knob almost fully open. The LFO CV Out of the RH301 is modulating the Delay Time CV In of the BD101 with a synced square wave signal while the tempo-synced Inverted Envelope CV Out of the RH301 is patched into the Cycle (Feedback) of the BD101, creating drony overtones.

The signal runs then into the FT201 in Low Pass mode (all three outputs can be used at the same time). The internal sequencer of the FT201 is synced to the Clock Out of the RH301, making sure all the filtersteps of the unit are in time and on the beat.

acidlab M1AM1 First Jam Uncut

"TR-808, acidlab, Miami, M1AM1, M1AMI, MIAM1, TR-606, TR-909, Bassline, Shagghie, demo, Klaus

Took the new acidlab M1AM1 for a spin the other night. This is raw, uncut jamming on it. Made the pattern in about 12 min., and just jammed on it the whole time. It's not mixed, this is just the main mono out. The shuffle settings are awesome, and this one I think does a great job to highlight at least ONE of the settings. This is practically a track already by the sound of it. The kick and toms play so well off each other that for a lot of applications a bassline and/or sub synth is not needed for a house vibe like this."
