"Bring your own laptop and headphones and record synthesizer tracks for your midi sequences for free at The Handbag Factory, 1336 S Grand Ave, Downtown Los Angeles, Ca Saturday, July 11th, 12pm to 6pm.

Deep Signal Studios will holding our first Vintage Synth Recording Workshop at The Handbag Factory in Downtown LA. Bring your own laptop, headphones, and audio interface and record your completed sequences from any of the synths for free. USB-MIDI interfaces will be available for use.

Or, bring your midi files on a USB drive and have your sequences tracked from any of the synths into a DAW (UA Apollo into Ableton Live, Logic, Pro Tools) for a nominal fee.

Come hang out, meet fellow producers and enjoy refreshments.

via the seller: "Up for auction is my Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 analog synth. I am the original owner of this keyboard, and this is the first time it has been on eBay. It has a new 'membrane pad', and and as far as I can tell is now is in perfect working order. All the pots and switches work perfectly, with no noise or 'scratchiness', All the keys work PERFECTLY and are flush [see photos.] All six voices play. Midi In and Out works perfectly. [Midi is limited to note on and note off. This was the first Midi keyboard.] The only thing I haven't checked out is the tape cassette data transfer for loading and unloading patches, but I have no reason to believe it doesn't work. As you can see by the photos, this keyboard is in excellent condition. There are some scratches on the bottom plate from the keyboard stand [see pics.] Even the wood end panels are perfect. The only problem I've ever had with this board is the membrane pad, which has been replaced. The Prophet 600 came out after the Prophet 5, and is the very first midi synthesizer, therefore it's midi capabilities are limited, but if you're looking you probably know that."

Music Thing Modular Radio Music - Faux Granular

"The first channel I turn up is the output of the Radio Music. Patch Notes for the Radio Music are below.

A loop of a chord progression is loaded into the Radio Music. A very fast series of triggers (from the 4MS shuffling clock multiplier) is patched into the Reset input. The Start input is modulated by the CV output of the sequencer on the right hand side. The clock multiplier is then randomly rotated in time with the master clock. This causes the loop to repeat very quickly at different speeds, while the start point bounces to new locations within the loop. This also works well with drum loops."

All inputs are buffered, we use stereo potentiometers (found in high quality studio mixers) for panning, IN3 has a CV controlled autopan function. You will find 6.3mm jacks for balanced outputs and headphone out with dedicated preamp.
