VERMONA PERfourMER Mk. 2 + UNO DRUM // PURE ANALOG

Published on Nov 19, 2019 LESINDES

"This is another episode of PURE ANALOG here with VERMONA PERfourMER. Only single voices are used not all 4. I did not use FX as all the other on board FX of the synths that are being played hier in PURE ANALOG which is a project to find out and show the qualities of analog synthesizers and eventually also hybrids. And exciting Question is also how contemporary synths like this lush GRP A-2 or EREBUS NYX compare to vintage legends like MINIMOOG or ARP ODYSSEY or ROLAND JUPITER 4 etc. So this piece will be played and performed with different synths in the future track by track recorded in DAW without any equing or otherwise processed in DAW, no add modulation, reverb, saturation or other FX. Only a mastering compressor, EQ and Limiter is used on the sum. So what you hear is completely un-FX-ed material -- almost impossible to find these days!!!"

1979 SMP Overview

Published on Nov 19, 2019 Todd Barton

"My initial encounter and overview with 1979's Stereo Microsound Processor (SMP) based on Mutable Instruments Clouds but styled with added features for the Buchla format. A later episode will have some sound demos.

Purchase information: https://1979.ws

A good Clouds tutorial for the curious: [posted here]

Update: Note 1979 is the brand, not the year. I created a new site label for them. I believe 1979 is Wes Milholen of Grayscale's brand. You can find a 20Objects interview with him here.

The SMP / STEREO MICROSOUND PROCESSOR is currently priced at $850.

"Granular synthesis for 4U systems. Based on Clouds by Mutable Instruments, the SMP is a realtime granular synthesis processor that expands significantly on the original. Dedicated controls for previously hidden functions, additional CV inputs with inverting attenuators, easier access to preset recall and sampling settings, and increased control over output gain make this one of the most full-featured hardware granular processors available. It's a powerful addition to any Buchla-format system, offering a form of digital signal processing not previously available in this format."

Behringer VC340 Vocoder + 101-VCO [Demo #1]

Published on Nov 19, 2019 gstormelectro

"Audio and Video by G-Storm Electro c. 2019

Today the gorgeous sounds of the Behringer VC340 Vocoder
Strings and Choir paired with my 101-VCO on arpeggio.
101-VCO going to my 101-VCF for that classic SH-101 sound.
Future Retro Transient is going to the vocoder mic input.
Transient is modulated by Batumi to result in those
shifting vocoder effects - almost chanting/talking?
Arturia Drumbrute Impact is clocked to the Beatstep Pro.
Some Big Sky reverb and Timefactor Delay.

Recorded direct to Tascam DR-05.
