Frank Pels is a musician & producer from the Netherlands who has been involved with wavetable synthesis from the beginning. He has owned many legendary synthesizers like Prophet VS, Waldorf Microwave 1 & 2 over the years. He is now delivering his first soundset for the Iridium/Quantum family of synths.

"In the current OS version 3.3.0 BETA 1, which is now available for all Quantum and Iridium models, we have added a new important function. If you select the audio section in the Global Menu, the “Browse” menu appears at the bottom left. This gives you direct access to the sample folders in the internal flash and their contents.

"This work was created using the ‪@somasynths‬ LYRA-8 and ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field. The LYRA-8 plays the higher melodies while looping the bassline through ‪@HologramElectronics‬ MICROCOSM. In OP-1 field, a synth loop is played back while performing on the built-in keyboard. The OP-1’s sound is made lo-fi by applying a tape simulation effect through the ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ Generation Loss MKII."
