this auction"Thowt is a sophisticated virtual analog (VA) software synthesizer. You can use it either as a VST plugin in other applications that use VST technology, such as Cubase, or as a stand-alone application. Thowt is very useful when you need hard synthesized sounds; the variety of sounds it can produce is incredible and the range covers simulation of classical analog systems, FM synthesis and a combination of both. It possesses incomparable power of 9 double-oscillators per 1 voice. Sounds for dance styles, techno, DB, hip-hop as well as dark booming sound and leads sharp as a knife can be easily found in Thowt. You can create an unlimited number of your own presets. The Thowt is unrivalled instrument for sound experiments!
When working in a studio, VST plugin Thowt provides you with a range of interesting sounds and it is great when combined with HDR studio Cubase.
It can be used very efficiently as a standalone application for instance for concerts – to get very flexible and a souped-up VA synthesizer, the only thing you need is a laptop, MIDI/USB keyboard or a converter. The price is a real bargain. In comparison with a common synthesizer, you will get an open system which can be configured and is fully upgradeable. You can plug in a second multi-octave MIDI keyboard or guitar MIDI converter.
Basic features
* combination of 3 types of synthesis: Virtual analog, FM, Vector synthesis
* 9 double VCO per each voice; up to 18 generators per a voice
* cross-mix for spectral morphing
* each VCO is independent of the shape of a wave (sine wave, rectangle, “analog” rectangle, triangle, saw, noise, the first oscillators enable vector synthesis), VCO frequency drift (±4 octaves, semitones, subtle frequency drift ±50C), FM and circular modulation
* vector synthesis – 2 oscillators, 256 factory specimen that can be freely used
* FM and circular modulation, 6 operators for VCO 1+2, 4 operators for VCO 3-9
* 2 VCF – LPF, BPF, HPF, Moog type filter, simulation of analog filter in the 80s, band reject, peak
* 4 ADSR – 2 for VCA and 2 for VCF
* 2 LFO + step LFO/SEQ
* effect unit – delay, reverb effects, chorus, phasing effect, flanging effect, parametric EQ, compressor
