"The ds2 is a very rare ( 500 made ) crumar synth which has digital ( , fat . raspy saw , pure square and lovely sine thats unlike any analogue i heard ) analogue filters , 2 x lfo , weird lfo shapes and to top it off a 44 key string synth section ( which works at the same time as the main osc's for sublime chord tuned keys.)

Creatively this machine is freaks synth or one for retro heads , the 2 lfo's and mod matrix make this not unlike the sequential pro 1 at times but way more complex ( it has ladder / staircase and s/h random lfos' which take you straight into star trek / bbc radiophonic territory)The machines string section makes super cheesy and cool 60's and 70's pad sounds and just plain psychedelic wavering timbres very similiar to the boards of canada stuff , you know those detuned and weavy psychedelic tones.The machine also excels at leads from thin and tonal to fat and pwm ones and as it has 2 main osc's it can play chord leads that go from classic rave tones to crazy jazz tones , it can emulate a moog lead with ease , really its very moogish.The machine also reminds me alot of the Oxford oscar , it has a very very similiar tone to the oscar at times , a rough and ready filter and a resonance that sqwarks like a banshee , it self resonates and the filter will then act as a osc and track perfectly.I should also mention the lush pink and white noise section ( which again just adds to this machine )The machine i feel outdoes many analogues , its osc's are really mean and fat , they dont sound digital ! but do at times have a slight plastic tone which is what makes the machine sound so cool and psychedelic." Things that don't exist in large format. My first production module was ARCADE [prototype pictured below]. It combined my love for classic arcade video games with controlling modular synthesizers for both euro and 5U formats. We even have a prototype for a banana version for the Serge/Buchla crowd.
Otherwise, I like offering classic circuits in their original design to folks who cant afford the real thing. Arp and Polivoks VCFs and also the mixer from the Polivoks, both with all original Russian ICs sourced from behind the former iron curtain. Also the venerable Chris Carter Gristleizer..."

The Vermona DRM-1 drum machine, as well as everything else, is CV-sequenced by the Eurorack. "LELL UDS is a compact analog electronic percussion module like SIMMONS, FORMANTA UDS (ROKTON), ELSITA or similar. It combines a synthesizing module & two velocity sensitive drum pads (with rubber surface) on the stand for live playing. It can be used as a supplement to the standard drum module to get synthesized sounds with the possibility to change sound parameters on fly. Good for use in any kinds of music & modern/experimental percussions. Except for the included pads the module can also be triggered by any other audio signal - synthesizer, CV gate, drum machine or virtual instrument, analog output e.t.c.

It has 2 independent and identical channels with powerfull parameters of synthesis (24 knobs) such as - GAIN, TONE PITCH, ENV MOD, RELEASE, RESONANCE, ACCENT (CLICK), NOISE HI-LOW, MIX TONE-NOISE, LEVEL etc. There is also a sensitivity level,
a ballance between noise & tone, a master level.

There connectors on on the rear panel are - 2 trigger inputs and main audio output (socket adapter to standard 1/4TRS "Jack" included).

The mains power of the unit is 220 volts. For 110/127v countries I`ll include voltage converter..."

"This is a fully functional rare "SoundSwitcher" board for the Kawai R100 (may work on others like R50 but don't know for sure). It includes copies of all 3 of the Kawai Factory ROMs that were released. It is my understanding that these are the ROMs for the R50, R50e and R100. In any event you get triple the sounds and it's awesome. Search the web to learn more about it. I don't have any instructions but I do have a ton of pictures of how it is installed if you aren't familiar with this mod. Don't miss this chance to fit your R100 with all the sounds made for it.

It's the purple board shown in the photos above. The circuit board is silkscreened with the signal names, so all you circuit benders out there can bend your drum machine without messing with a fine vintage instrument. Also note that the photos show the Kawai Mask ROMs. This kit includes EPROMs, but they are functionally identical."

Modified omnichord system two(om-84) Touch synthisizer. This piece features 60+ touch points allowing you to produce rich and complex tones, drones, harmonies, filtering and distortion. Multiple tones/notes can be played at one time to create thick and complex tonal harmonies.
The hand etched copper clad section on top features 3 rows of twelve notes including ,mid,bass and grimey tones. "Up for sale is one Roland Cr 8000 with midi sync box. This Cr is one of a kind it has been serviced and modded by Josh Gumiela. Josh is an excellent tech and offers servicing and mods for the cr 8000 and is highly recomened.This unit has had extensive servicing including recapped power supply and most of caps of the voice board . Transistors q4 through q17 have been replaced. All pots have been clean and lubed and all buttons have been de soldered cleaned and fitted with new copper contacts and function as new. The mods done include six individual outs. Josh has also added tuning and distortion pots and switches. These mods are for the snare and Tom. The snare mod adds tuning and snap which adds more white noise . The Tom mod turns the Tom into one huge bass drum with tuning drive and distortion. It really sounds fantastic and in my opion sounds as good as my 808..."

VL-5 & PT-30 Micro Jam - Week 11 - Royalty Free Electonica

"This track was created using a Casio VL-5 and a Casio PT-30, both distorted to hell! The distortion on the drum pattern was created by running its audio signal through the mic amplifier on a Prinzsound TR-5 cassette player, so called because it contains 5 transistors fact fans! The distortion on the VL-5 was created by running it into the mic inputs on my Inkel MX880E mixer. The VL-5 is not much bigger than a VL-1 but is unfortunately missing its predecessors synth function, but on the plus side its 4 note polyphonic. Nice.

Right, so here's the idea. Trying to write, upload and give away a fresh piece of music on a roughly weekly basis. Will i be able to keep it up? Will i run out of ideas? Can i be bothered? How shoddy will they be? Does anybody care? God knows. But that's the point.

Basically the idea is to flex my musical muscles a bit. I have collected quite a bit of gear over the years and not much of it is getting used as much as i'd like, so this is my attempt to justify all those purchases whilst practising improving and getting ideas down fast as an antidote to procrastination. "Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working." as Picasso once said.

Royalty free for you to use for whatever under the creative commons license. Just rip the audio out of the video for now, i'll get these tracks uploaded to a dropbox account when i get my act together. Let me know if you use it, i'd be stoked."

In this video you hear some of my JX patches. I played the JX-8P without any effects or eq.

The Roland JX-8P is a programmable polyphonic analog synthesizer from 1985. It is 6 voice polyphonic, it has 2 DCO's per voice. Oscillator sync and cross modulation available. Analog resonant filters. 2 envelopes. Velocity sensitive keyboard. It also has aftertouch, but be warned, you need very strong fingers... :-D It has a built in chorus (two settings) and unisono modes.

It has 64 presets and 32 patch memory for your own patches. The optional PG-800 was a programmer which allowed tweaking the sounds with sliders and knobs - like on earlier analog synths. But even without the PG-800 sound editing is easy like on a Korg Poly-800.

The JX-8P has MIDI and sysex abilities, but no tape interface."

And tweaking the signals on the data inputs will change the patterns.
