"This is a Moog in suitcase. A synth designed by MuSonics and worked on by Bob Moog. The X/Y LFO's allow you to create layers of modulation that ad depth to any sound. The filter sounds amazing; I have never heard a filter oscillate as loudly and smooth as this synth's. This synth was fully restored by one of NYC's finest synth repair shops. I have a receipt from August 2013 that shows this synth was fully cleaned, calibrated and tested 100% functional. The speaker was even replaced with a newer, higher quality speaker that sounds nice. The speaker is great for coming up with sounds in your room, or taking the synth over to a friends place to write music. This synth has ring mod, separate outs for the pre-filter oscillator signals, oscillator sync, the LFO's can trigger the oscillator..."

"Most of electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire's music exists in a single copy in the archives of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Many dozens, if not hundreds, of pieces of her beautiful work are mouldering unheard.
Delia's music broke new ground on several fronts: technological as she pushed what was possible with the equipment of her time, rhythmical as she experimented 11- and 13-note bars, and tonal as she freed herself from the 12-tone scale and voyaged into soundscapes and pure sound. Of Delia's work, only a tiny percentage is known to the public, whereas by far the majority of it is on tape in the Archive of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop in the custody of Mark Ayres.
We petition the BBC Trust to apply pressure to the BBC so that these recordings be swiftly published on traditional audio media (CD, DVD) so that the public, and in particular the British public who paid for it to be produced, be able to learn from and develop this woman's amazing musical visionary style.
The petition's closing date, the 5th of May 2014, is Delia's 77th birthday."

The listing states it uses the same filters as the Prophet-5, however it does not. The Rev 3 Prophet-5 used CEM3320 filter while the Prophet 2000 used a CEM3379 VCF/VCA. You can see a list of CEM and SSM chips and the synths that used them on Wikipedia here.

It's much more than that though: all 4 parts (melody, bass, chord, rhythm) are available at once on separate audio/MIDI channels, making the MKS-7 capable of full musical compositions.
The MKS-7 Super Quartet is a multitimbral synth module with dedicated sections. The Melody section: 2 voice polyphony, 100 presets; Chord section: 4 voice polyphony, 100 presets; Bass section: monophonic, 20 presets; Rhythm section: 11 PCM sounds. The sound and architecture of the Melody, Chord and Bass sections are the same as the Juno 106synthesizer. The Rhythm section offers up the drum sounds borrowed from the TR-707.

"The PE2000 was created in 1976 as I recall and has the one of the most definitive phaser effects of the era I think working with preset sounds through EQ and A-R envelope. And three oscillator divide down with all it's analog glory. :-) This one has been reconditioned to perfect shape and I play it in 'a few of my favorite strings' video on the sounddoctorin youtube channel [see this post] for a sound demo. As you can see the cosmetics of the keyboard is marvelous. The case has it's wear and tear but nothing too bad. Probably could get some of the same type material and use a good adhesive to hold it in the little missing strip you see there. But I figured it's just part of the vibe on this one and at least the parts that matter usually are awesome. ALSO note that only the middle latch works. The outer ones could be replaced by common latches if someone thought that important for more secure xport but didn't seem a priority to me. I have too many string machines and need to bail out some of the expenses from repairing vehicles including an old '73 wagoneer we're using for prospecting that was sold to me 'ready to drive' with a cam that had flat lobes. lol. Doing some gold prospecting this summer. What fun! Hopefully on the trail of something good here but haven't been showing my face around youtube or ebay as much as a result. WATCH FOR MORE AUCTIONS though including some classic combo organs and synths!
