Spraung

"Experimenting with the Ornaments and Crime Harrington 1200 triad chord generator mode on Braids and 2 DPO dissimilar oscillator waveforms. Lots of trigs and CVs for O_C coming out at a 1/8 tempo Voltage block and Pamelas NEW Workout. The mixed down oscillators are going going into Belgrad which is cutoff gated by Pams workout, into my main mixer and clouds. JIAW JIAW guitar sound is rings into Uoki-Toki polivoks filter clone at high resonance, with filter cutoff being triggered by Pams workout gates into Maths envelope, into erica synths tube mixer at max saturation. Also drums from Tiptop audio ONE, 4MS STS and Intellijel Plonk being controlled by Qubit Rhythm. Qubit mixology with send return going into Clouds at final stage."

"Up for sale is EXCLUSIVE ONE-AND-ONLY 1:1 replica of legendary "MOOG PRODIGY" analog syntesizer.

Build build as a special order for private studio by a professional engineer.

The unit is build from the original "Prodigy Model 336A" scheme with the use of authentic top quality components which provides those original iconic sound. The synth is 100% pure analog. Its effective design employs two voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) with saw, triangle and pulse waveforms. These waveforms could be detuned up or down by more than a fifth, allowing for the creation of thick pads as well as atonal sounds. The two oscillators could be synchronized as well, then altered using the pitch wheel (in sync mode, the pitch wheel would alter the tonality of the sound, not the pitch. Roaring synth leads were made possible using this feature.) There's also a genuine Moog 24dB / octave lowpass filter (emphasis), A/D/S envelope generator, and LFO with square or triangle waveforms and routing to the VCF, VCO or both! Even Portamento, Pitch and Mod wheels. This instrument is capable of a full range of synthetic sounds, from a gentle whistle or flute in the upper ranges, to sub-level bass (a sub oscillator allowed for very deep lows). The voltage controlled amplifier (VCA) was controllable only via a 3-stage ADR envelope controller (ADR short for Attack Decay Release). The low frequency oscillator (LFO) of the Prodigy featured a triangle and square waveform, which could be routed to the VCO or VCF to create pitch or filter modulation effects. Keyboard has 32 keys. The casing is made of wood + metal (just like the original).

Wavestation - Prophet VS Waves

Published on Aug 18, 2018 100 Things I Do

"The Korg Wavestation is still a very deep and versatile instrument for atmospheric pads and interesting sounds.

While the classic wave sequences sound is very much of its time, this instrument is still a very cheap way to get your hands on most of the power of the Sequential Prophet VS. About the only thing you loose is the ability to add resonance to the filter (there are other ways to get this effect!). Be sure to get the EX as the earlier Wavestations only had about 50% of the waves!

Today I thought I would share a Sunday noodle where I change the patch in real time while exploring. While there is quite a bit of menu diving to be done on the Wavestation once you get your head around the way it works it becomes very simple and fast to edit. I have also changed out the old KORG Black and white display with a new Blue and White one in case you go hunting and can't find one that looks like mine :D"

Using the Tama Rhythm Watch as a glitchy clock via the 0-coast with fun subdivision/polyrhythms (at the end).

Using the 0-coast to randomly generate values applied to the slope length modulating the filter cutoff of the Mother-32 with every clock pulse."

036//Rainforest Nights - 2x Moog Mother 32 rich self-generating atmosphere

Published on Aug 18, 2018 Alastair Wilson

"An atmospheric self-generating patch using 2 Mother 32s sent through an Eventide Space modechoverb reverb and an Eventide Timefactor on tape setting.

Returning to using clicks and pops for creating self-generating atmospheres, I decided to put my 2 pedals through their paces. Glitchy clicks and self-oscillating filters feed into a warbling delay and modulated reverb for a richly textured forest soundscape.

PATCH NOTES:
The square LFOs are patched into the external audio inputs, creating clicks when they switch between high and low states. The cutoff and resonance of both filters is randomly modulated, occasionally driven into self-oscillation for notes. The rest of the patching just adds very slight variance to the patch, such as the oscillators being modulated by triangle LFOs for pitch swoops but being so quiet that they are usually inaudible. Most of the atmosphere comes from the tape emulation on the high-feedback delay (lots of wow, flutter, and some saturation), and the dense but quiet reverb.

If you want to recreate this patch, you can find it here:
